They asked for my ID or a photo of the credit card with the 8 middle digits and CVV hidden. I gave select info and they then said to wait 3 business days for processing. I asked them to cancel the transaction and refund me the money as I decided to try with another company instead, as this looked fishy. They said they could not cancel it as the application had already been submitted. The visa from the other company came through in a day. Sure enough, uaevisa got back to me the next week with an official-sounding email asking for another USD 229 claiming they hadn't received the payment yet. I sent a screenshot of my proof of payment. Haven't heard back yet.
