TurboCAD Tracking Order Status

Turbo cad will not issue me with a new authorisation code for my Pro v16 even though I am registered . They just want to sell me a newer version at huge cost which I don't need. Despicable. So much for "perpetual licence". It only lasts till they decide you've had it long enough.

It's an excellent CAD tool with a lot of functionality for a great price. Highly recommended.

Original download of TC Designer 2021 was a total mess. That was v19.2. Even working with support, there was no love in trying to make it work. Was so frustrating, I wrote a 1 star review because it was so "buggy". Went over my emails with support and found one which had a link to download a newer version. Version 28, build 73. Well, that made all the difference! Seems to be working well on my new Surface Book Win10. Tricky like most Tcad software to setup, but so far it seems to not have any of the problems of v.19.2, for sure. Hope it stays that way ;-)

Turbocad deluxe mac v12. Expensive lack of reliable functionality. In my opinion this is a marketing ploy to promote the full version of turbocad. The lack of useful editing tools and the hidden menus for attributes, lines and layers make this CAD package hard work. I found running the software on Big Sur highlighted many bugs. Opening or saving drawings was very unreliable. The Drawings displayed only parts of the originally saved drawings. The logicursor feature seemed to have a mind of it's own and frequently didn't work as expected. When with a 3d rendered image on the screen a line ghost drawing would appear above the original. Th training package sold separately is very poorly constructed. I should have saved money and relied upon youtube presentations. I have used TC CAD in 2D since the 1990's and this is my first attempt at 3D. I am not impressed.

Better than AutoCAD. Cheaper and more features.
