Absolutely brilliant, Tria Beauty Hair Removal Laser 4x Cordless Diode face, bikini area, underarms. I have used this nearly a year now, and can say its so easy to use with being cordless and light weighted. And it works, my best ever buy, love it. Could be used for legs arms but i feel with it only having a small laser beam its best for smaller area's that i have mentioned. I used once a week for a few months, now just do a top up maybe once a month or at least every two months. 10/10

I have waited over 4 years to write this review as I was annoyed at the number of people who write reviews after just one week of using the product. As a long term user, I can tell you how long you wally need to wait to be hair free. I bought the Tria 4x back in December 2016. I had previously had a handful of laser hair removal sessions done at a clinic on my face and under arms. But even after that, the hair wasn't completely gone. I decided to purchase the Tria 4x because I wanted to laser other hair that I wasn't comfortable getting done professionally. Also this was, and I believe still, is the only laser and most powerful device on the market compared to the other IPL devices. I have light skin and brown hair and found I could build the tolerance from level 3 to level 5 on most body areas except the more delicate areas. As a man, you're not recommended to use the laser on your face but in my experience if you start at a lower setting you'll be able to increase the power as the hair thins and the volume decreases. Because there're more hair follicles clustered together in such a small area compared to other body parts, using a setting above 1 could cause burns. So be careful! If it hurts, reduce the power! The biggest take away from my experience is, it takes time and you won't notice any difference for about 3-4 months of use! The faster areas for me were my lower leg, under arms, and arms. The slowest was my face. I've used the tria 4x for over four years and I've got to the point where the remaining few hairs on my chin have turned blond. At this point, the laser won't work as it needs dark hair for the laser energy to travel down the hair shift and kill the root. Luckily, I haven't experienced this effect anywhere else. After all this time, I'm mostly hair free from head to toe but not completely. The little hair I do have left is only noticeable if you inspect the skin up close and only after 2 weeks of hair growth. Before I started, I used to feel the stubble growing back on my face after 8 hours and on my legs after 24 hours. If you're female then I'm sure this device works far quicker. For male hair that grows fast and starts off coarse, it takes time to kill and thin the hair. I use the laser once a week which I think makes sense for male hair growth but for women every two weeks as recommended in the booklet makes sense. Note though, the laser head is small so it's likely you'll miss spots therefore weekly sessions isn't going to be a complete waste of time. Just remember that the laser only kills hairs in the growing stage and won't touch the ones in the resting stage or that haven't grown yet. Having said that, once the hair is gone, it's gone, unlike IPL where the hair may recover. As long as you're willing to make this part of your routine, you can reduce the hair on your body. After time, the little shaving you do do will not produce in-growing hairs or razer burn so your skin will look better. If I could improve the tria 4x I would ask for a bigger battery/fast charger so I didn't have to wait so long between chargers. I hope this gives you a good idea of my experience and is in some way useful.

I am a female in my late 30's with fair skin and dark hair. I have had an issue with dark coarse chin hair for over 10 years now and I had reached the point of being totally fed up and had to do something drastic. I have a friend who had spoken to me about laser treatment in the past and said I was the ideal candidate. The only thing that put me off was the cost and the shaving in between treatments. I came across tria on the Internet...I did lots of research and read hundreds of reviews good and bad and decided it was worth a go. Cheaper than a salon. I will add that I didnt leave my hair to grow for 6 weeks like Tria suggest, I just started treatment and used weekly and shaved before treatments. After the first treatment, the hair began to fall out in a few days. Couldnt believe it! I am now 6 weeks in and this week is the first week I havnt had to shave at all! I am smooth, I have no shadows. For the first time in years I am not having to cover my chin with heavy makeup to disguise my problem. I feel confident again. Tria claim permanent results...now it is too early to say if this will be the case but from what I've seen sofar I am impressed. If any hair is coming back it is lighter and thinner and cant be seen like my unsightly hair previously. Because the hair hasn't grown back this week I have missed a treatment and will probably use the tria fortnightly now. I honestly can't believe it. The battery life has been highlighted in a negative way in several reviews...it is short but the precision battery life is enough to do small areas which is what it is designed for. The pain is bearable and in my opinion worth it if it bears results. So happy I took the gamble of buying this and had a little faith it might work. My hair hasn't totally disappeared yet but the difference in only 6 weeks has changed my life.

Having had unsightly chin hair for years , that was increasing I felt the time had come for something drastic. I did my research wisely , no chance of me parting with hard earned cash without knowing the facts. So I finally settled on the Tria. Had it 2 years almost , used it religiously in the first 18 months. Whilst the hairs have definitely got finer and lighter they are still very much apparent. Rather disappointed tbh. I would nt recommend this product.

I did a lot of research before purchasing my Tria and really thought I’d got it right, that was over a year ago and I’m still shaving and lasering which was not what I was expecting. The tiny sensor means it takes ages to cover the lower leg area which would be ok if you only had to do it for a short period of time. I think the regrowth is possibly slightly finer, but I thought that after about 6 sessions that would be it. The hair takes longer to grow back which is why I’ve given 2 stars, but given that this is a hair removal device I think I’m being generous. I wish I’d gone for the more popular Phillips Lumea now. Multiple head options and definitely more of a market leader.
