TouchOfModern Tracking Order Status

I want to update my rating for Touch of Modern. After expressing my frustration about a particular issue with an order and providing a very low rating to TOM in Trustpilot, someone from TOM responded and asked me to provide my order details in Facebook. The TOM Customer Service Representative promptly responded and was extremely courteous and efficient and helped to resolve my issue. The representative regularly kept me updated of the progress, and shortly after my items arrived. Hats off to TOM and this wonderful Customer Service Rep - I finally did get what I paid for.

The amount of spam generated right after signing up, and placing an order, was overwhelming to say the least. It was next to impossible to unsubscribe, they finally reached out after reading this review to offer direction on how to unsubscribe, which meant I had to create a FACEBOOK account... not feasible. I continued to send them numerous emails and finally I am no longer getting SPAM. Item ordered arrived after 3 months in condition as promised. Delivery and customer service needs attention for shipping to Canada.

I ordered a Rolex watch It came in time and i am amazed with the quality and the price was a steal.Im loking forward to buy more stuff on TOM.

I have been ordering from ToM for many years and have learned the following: (1) Merchandise (grade A): They do have some very interesting products that you may not be aware of. Overall they have a vast array of products that are mostly geared to men. (2) Clothes (grade D): I kick myself every single time I purchase clothes or shoes. The products look so much better online than when received. The 3 or 4 pairs of shoes/boots I have purchased showed a retail value between $200 to $300+, but with a purchase price around $100. In-person the materials look cheap and I have never worn a single pair out in public. Plus, every single shirt is two sizes smaller than shown on the label, more like kid sizes. If you wear a Large, I would order a 2XL. I have also experienced the same poor quality of materials for shirts. (3) Shipping (grade F-): Horrible. Some of their products take 6+ weeks to ship. Crazy for 2023 standards. They claim some items are purchased in bulk to save money. I would and probably most people that shop on ToM would prefer to spend a little bit more for quicker shipping. Even their 1 to 2 day quick ship items take 3 to 4 days to ship. I have received items that still show as being prepared to be shipped by their tracker. (4) Value (grade C): Some of the items you cannot find at other websites, but in general, their costs are very similar if not more expensive (any coin or dollar collectables) than other sites. (5) Customer Service (grade B): Overall they are typically quick to respond. However, their customer service may not be able to answer your question and will have to forward your request to the vendor. This can take some time since ToM acts are the middle man. Since they purchase in bulk, you cannot get a replacement for damaged items. They can only refund you your money. (6) Overall (grade C): I check the site everyday and find really unique items, but I am very hesitant to purchase anything because of their exceptionally long shipping times. I truly wish they would change their 1990s shipping practices to be more in-line with other online merchants. I will continue to shop with them, but on a limited basis and with lower expeditions.

Way too expensive for what you're getting. It's really hit and miss with the items too. I just feel like I'm getting ripped off every time.
