Been playing for a long time almost 10 years, lately if you dont pay you dont win even against a bad team

Fun Game. You can have success without paying, but it is definitely pay to win. If you play everyday and enjoy it good for you, you definitely do not need to pay. I only get the pass every so often so pay a minimal amount. Overall very fun managing game, easy to jump in to and rewarding. Just hard to get to the very, very top without paying large amounts of money. Also not casual, must play almost everyday. I have played for about 17 seasons straight now and still enjoy it. I used to play it years ago but have taken a break 2 times.

Playing this game since day one pretty much. Had to make a new team each time I got a new phone which was very annoying. Anyway, at an advanced stage now and it seems the only way to keep advancing is to start spending money which I will not do. You will never beat a better team than yours also and if you can't get promoted inside two seasons your viewed as tanking and punished for it. They want to make money, I get it but seriously thinking of calling it a day with this game.
