I ordered a Milwaukee Vacuum from them, after I received it and went to use it , it was non functioning. Sent in video of it not working, shipped it back(at my expense) and was issued a refund instead of a new tool. which was fine, but the tool cost 170 and some change while the refund was only 130 and some change. very disappointing for a first time buyer. probably won't order again from them.

I have been buying from toolnut for 6+ years. I have had minor issues in the past but nothing to be unexpected. That has changed recently and have been very discouraged by the CS attitude and the haphazard fulfillment. they are there own worst enemy. they always have an excuse and typically contradict their own assertions. last summer there was an order that they said would ship in one day that took more than 7 and really messed me up - excuse warehouse and fulfillment team has been trying to catch up. the order that absolutely cut it with me a part was broken. the whole item was on back order but other vendors sold the part for $7. Caleb told me it could not fixed and had to be returned, not only had to be returned but had to be returned before they would order the replacement which was 14-28 days back order. I sent it back and Caleb said to expect the credit within 3-5 business days. on the 8th day, I inquired about it and he said that the returns team had been overwhelmed and it would be processed in 7 to 10 days. it’s just there latest excuse. I have never counted up how much I have spent with tool nut but I am in their higher rewards tier and I won’t buy from them again unless there is significant change. life is too short, money is easier lost than made, and I need a supplier I can depend on. I feel silly buying from the faceless amazon, but reliability is important. when a tool breaks or you run out of something, you need action not excuses.

The site says that they will ship "In Stock" items the same day if the order is placed before noon. I have placed orders the same day for "in Stock" items and have recieved ONE order already. The other is "still processing" although it was "In Stock". FOUR DAYS later. I have also paid extra for "Priority Order Processing" but it really makes no difference. I have called the company and emailed the company. THEY ARE CLOSED ON THE WEEKENDS! I understand it's a family owned business. That's great. However, the site is UP on the weekends so they're OPEN on the weekends. I apologize for the rant but I do expect MORE from online stores than the one down the street. I am not happy with toolnut.com (tool.com dba toolnut.com). These are not $50 purchases. They sell very expensive woodworking equipment from very high-profile manufacturers. Their customer service and communications are lacking.

I have ordered a lot of tools and accessories from the Toolnut, I have been fortunate everything was always shipped very quickly, and was exactly what I ordered with no problems at all. This last order was the Milwaukee packout structured 10 inch tote. When I received it, I noticed that had a cut on the side of it. not a huge deal for a tool bag but then again I paid $260 for it. I thought they should exchange it. I spoke with Zack from customer service. He was very professional, and very quick to ship a new one to me! Absolutely great customer service! Thank you very much Zack for your professionalism and your due diligence. I will always continue to do business with the Toolnut!!

I liked the price on a Milwaukee Deal of the Day item, so I spun the wheel and ordered from Tool Nut early on 9/29. My Paypal account was debited right away, which can be proven, and TN does not dispute. That practice is counter to what has been stated on this website by the customer service supervisor who claims that accounts are not debited until the order ships. Currently my order still shows as Processing under my account on the TN website. I just chatted with someone in customer service who stated that I was debited immediately because the ordered item was in stock and they printed a shipping label on Friday. Hmmm....printing shipping labels and shipping are clearly not the same. It's mid-day Monday, not really too long after I placed the order, and I wouldn't have been too concerned if the supervisor hadn't publicly stated here that payments aren't taken until orders ship. Dubious. I was also unhappy with the fact that TN was offering a great deal on a Milwaukee Drill/Driver that appeared to be not in stock, thus no free shipping with my other order, until I finalized the order, and then miraculously the drill/driver was available for purchase. This on top of the fact that I too fell for the $10 off trick but couldn't get the discount applied. I only found out by reading reviews here that it does not applied to already discounted items. That's fair enough but the way the discount is dangled in your face, but then doesn't work, was sketchy AF in my opinion. I may amend my review if my order arrives promptly after today and everything is "as new". I'm only giving them 3 stars for the good price on the item I ordered, service and implied terms leave something to be desired.
