Thrifty Tracking Order Status

Car ok. BUT... Hard sell on their own insurance even though purchase extra car rental insurance, when booked in UK. Insisted we purchased their insurance, if not doubted I would get a car. Defo not booking with them again or booking it through Expedia.

I rented a car this morning at Seville airport. The woman at the desk could not have been more helpful. Her name was Mar. I had booked a tiny car, Fiat 500, because I was travelling alone (but with golf clubs). There was some doubt that the Fiat 500 could fit the golf clubs. Mar left the desk to accompany me to make sure that everything was in order and that the clubs would fit in. She was amazing - charming and professional. She is a real asset to Hertz/Thrifty. I hope that they know this.

Wir haben über Check24 bei Thrifty/Hertz für Abholung Flughafen Girona ein Auto gemietet. Bezahlung lief direkt über Check24 inkl. Buchung einer Zusatzversicherung Vollkasko-/ Diebstahlschutz (100% Rückerstattung der Selbstbeteiligung) &  Zusatzschutz Glas / Reifen / Unterboden / Dach. Abholung und Rückgabe Auto jeweils ohne große Wartezeit (ca.15-25 Minuten), ohne Verkauf von Zusatzversicherungen (wie oft nachzulesen) und mit freundlichem Personal. Das Auto war recht neu und sehr sauber. Vorhandene Mängel wurden uns per Mail zugesandt. Fehlende Mängel konnten durch uns nach Sichtung des Autos per Mail bspw. mit Fotos angezeigt werden. Kaution inkl. Tankfüllung 605€ ok. Wurde innerhalb 1 Tag nach Rückgabe bereits zurück gebucht. Wichtig ist immer sich vorab genau zu belesen: welche (Zusatz-)Versicherungen sind notwendig, welche Kreditkarten werden akzeptiert (bspw. muss Hauptfahrer auch auf seinen Namen eine Kreditkarte vorlegen).

Rented a car from Thrifty at Alicante airport. Perfect in every way. Smooth pick up. Got upgraded to a bigger car. Staff offered us to pay for extra insurance, but immediately accepted that we didn’t want to. Easy to drop off the car, no hassle at all. Can highly recommend to rent a car from Thrifty/Hertz.

We hired a car from Thrifty/Hertz in Mallorca. Pick up was at the airport and just a short walk across the road. Extremely easy and good service, we were on the road in no time. The return was even better. We filled up on gas at the station just by the roundabout by the car hire place and then parked at any free space for Thrifty. A man turned up before we had even got out of the car, to check it and within a minute or two we were on our way. It couldn’t have gone any better! I would definitely use them again at this airport.
