SpotOn Fence Tracking Order Status

The dog I got this for(8 year old lab) was trained previously to a different perimeter fence & collar. It didn't work at our new property. I finally decided to get Spot On because we have much more land now. It was easy to set up and program. I did use old perimeter flags from the other unit, as a visual for him. I have now expanded the area he's got access to from 1.5 to probably 10 acres.(we have 60) Setting up new perimeters when visiting family is easy to do. I do walk the perimeter with him on leash, and reward when he hears the tone and comes back to me when doing this.

The collar is unreliable. The gps shifts to much for our yard.

The battery life is not great on these devices. I struggle to get 12 hours and I have 3 collars. This needs to improve for the price being charged

Spot On has been the absolute best solution for my dog who suffers from anxiety during thunderstorms, 4th of July (whole month if July actually) gun fire from neighbors who like to target practice. Always before I had to tether him in thr yard when these things were going on. Now he can roam free n choose his hiding places when he is scared, without worrying about him going into the road. He has the whole two acres to run n play and chase things. He is a much happier dog now. He still hates loud noises but he is safe now. Thank you Spot On. Also, their customer service is also "Spot On"! Always so helpful and courteous and resolves every issue or question I have!

Fence and collar are great also I have more then one residence and it’s easy to set up new boundaries no matter where your at I also had a problem with a collar and the tech support was great and shipped a collar out within 5 days Super service great product 07/26/2024 Darrin D Walters
