Spaceship Rentals AU Tracking Order Status

We hired a medium sized Ford Transit 'Spaceship' Camper van, the lovely 'Olivia', for 36 days from late August till end of September '24. Operators were patient and extremely helpful in answering our many questions before booking from Australia; and when a minor van issue became apparent while travelling, Spaceships were on to the solution immediately to fix the problem. Thats 'peace of mind'. We had a wonderful trip and hope to do it again. Ps. There was ample space, however if you are a single person or a couple and don't need the extra mattresses, ask the operator/s to remove them so they don't take up unnecessary space.

My partner and I have booked a spaceship campervan for our trip from Brisbane to Cairns in peak season of 2023. The reservation,payment as well as pickup of the van went super smoothly, I cannot recall any issues. Even though the van had over 300k kilometers, it took us up the coast with no complaints. The interior was well maintained, clean and useful. Especially the moskito nets did a great job keeping us cool + moskito free at night. Unfortunately the fridge broke in the middle of nowhere, but we immediately got a great service over the phone and help by a local garage (organised by the spaceship team). The fridge was not easy to be fixed but we have found a solution, bought an esky as well as ice to keep our food cool. We got a full refund for our additional expenses, a 10% discount on our rental costs and when we called them again to ask for a one day rental extension, they gave us the full day completely for free with no issues! We were so happy with the great service by the friendly team an d would highly recommend booking with spaceship. Pricing was also fair even in peak season.

Had 5 great weeks in Australia with spaceship. we loved the functionality of it! one of the only camper vans that offers a possibility to get fresh air through mosquito net (by opening the back you have a tent-like experience which is as close to nature as you can get in a van). most other companies don't have this option which I think is vital in hot areas. service was outstanding when we had minor electrical issues! service hotline worked really quick - problem was solved within 2 hours at a service partner.
