Solidteknics professes to be an ethical company however their actions in the way they treat their customers is anything but ethical. It seems they can just cancel an order after taking full payment for it (nearly a year prior) when it became available from their kickstarter release ready to ship. I currently have another order, made nearly 2 years ago now (paid in full for nearly $500.00) and let me predict the outcome on this one i bet Mark J Henry will pull the plug on this one too and not honor their fulfillment to me of my purchase. Lets wait and see hey Mark J Henry. It seems they can pick and chose whom gets their orders fulfilled (best you not call or email to find out how its going) or you might be scrubbed too or even worse get a phone call from Mark J Henry himself making thinly disguised threats, yes i still have his voicemail message he left me calling from his phone, very poor form Mark J Henry. They also falsely make statements that they are the only Australian commercial cookware manufacturer when in fact that's not true as there are several others that have been manufacturing also here in Australia far longer than they have been around. It seems they can't work out which thickness of metal performs best for cookware either as they chop and change from 4mm, 3mm, 2.5mm and now 2mm with their range. Oh and don't be fooled with the fancy use of the word wrought iron in their basic range it's just mild steel used the world around now for centuries by other cookware manufactures nothing new here. So come on Mark J Henry and have the decency of honoring my last remaining order that's been placed and paid for in full that i have been waiting nearly 2 years for now. If i could give this company Solidteknics a zero star rating i would, a one star rating is the lowest available to give however and far to good for them.

Pans are 5 star. Tongs are 0 stars. They are unusable, even after being sent back to be fixed. I left a review on their FB lovers page, then was swiftly kicked off! I have bought a lot of your product and was going to buy more. You have stopped that with your underhanded ways of trying to silence an authentic fan that was genuinely disappointed with one of your products.

I see 'Mark Henry' has grossly misrepresented the dialogue I had with him, or his bot, the entirety of which he swiftly deleted in line with my initial criticism here on this site, as well as 'prudently' banning me from Solidtechniks the moment he saw I'd well and truly called him out. I see he has stepped in here to double, no, quintuple down on his bot's incoherent passive aggressive babbling. We note that on the Facebook page where I put my well-meaning question to Solidteknics a great deal of fuss is made about the product being a 'proud Aussie manufacturer' but I have found by doing just a little bit of research that in America fake American 'commentators' express pride in knowing Solidtecknics is a 'proud American manufacturer' and I daresay the Japanese are delighted to know Solidteknics is a traditional Japanese maker that crafts this overpriced cookware in thermal springs. It seems certain that Solidteknics employs this ruse, misusing and capitalising on national pride, very successfully all over the world - an (expensive) gift to all nations. Let's talk now about the accounts of the people who make up your myriad claques. One of them was a man whose short account was just pictures of car speedometers and many others were similarly laughable. It is odd indeed that every commentator on your FB site asks you short leading questions, a bit like in Question Time in the Australian Parliament as enable you to tout all the selling points of your products safely and efficiently. It is a fact that you curate ruthlessly to remove any uncomfortable questions on Facebook and that is not 'honest dealings.' I asked you in terms that are nothing if not graceful simply to desist but here you are persisting your arrogant rudeness and it's not an improvement over your bots' scripting. Me: asks nice, thoughtful question of what he takes to be a genuine manufacturer with the aim of giving them the opportunity to shine in their response to my trivial query; Them: responds with AI in increasingly incoherent terms; Me: gives up; Them: aggressively protects their fraudulent investment in FB and Google rankings by being rude to me here, victimising me publicly here too, very much against my wishes and - please note, still incoherently - simply not understanding that if their responses are read then mine are too, when they do not look good and I do not look bad. Mark Henry do you really want to keep going with me? Because I am not a belligerent fool and you do appear to be and if I hear one more word from you, in strict disrespect of the fact that I myself asked you simply, and nicely, to give it a rest, my intention is to expose your fraudulent company thoroughly and meticulously. I am a video producer and I do not like you, and I do not like what you do, and I don't think anyone else should either. Your call buddy.

I bought the Solidteknics noni stainless steel pan and I liked the fact that it is made in America, for starters. It came late due to shipping delays but that's something all businesses have gone through during the pandemic. I received amazing customer service by email when asking about the delays! They were wonderful, truly. The pan: it's solid and heavy-a good sign. I bought from this company because their stainless steel does not contain nickel. You do not want nickel leaching into your food which can happen with pan wear. I also like no rivets; they're a pain to clean. I'm happy with my new pan. If I pre-heat the pan with oil before putting my food in, it doesn't stick. I'm happy! One thing: I'm from Canada and if you're getting this shipped to either Canada or overseas you can avoid the brokerage surcharge by doing the following: -email UPS and tell them you'll self-clear the item and have them email you the paperwork -take the paperwork to the closest Border Services office to stamp -Voila-no more surcharge!

I must admit unlike the other reviews I have had fabulous help and feedback in both the facebook group and in the kickstarter campaigns. I was new to seasoning pans but with the help of the ST lovers group on Facebook someone brought be to bee un stuck seasoning bars and they work a dream. The pans are very diverse, finally being able to cook things on the gas stove without the handle getting too hot to handle and them finishing things off in the oven. Love it. Cast iron pans are too heavy for me to handle and i really don't like the pans with bolts and rivets, so this wrought iron was the ideal solution for me. You have to care for your pans, so if you are not a foodie or into giving some tlc to your pans they may not be for you. I would give 5 stars as since I got hooked on ST pans after my first ks campaign, but my only downside is that there is US ion and AUS ion and im based in ireland. The shipping costs hurt to put it nicely plus the import duty in many cases....there is one UK company listed as selling ST cookware due to the sustainability but they don't seem to sell them anymore or very small range and they are also no longer in the EU either.... So only downside is the actual purchasing/ delivery cost part. If you are into ST cookware or gey hooked like me definitely sign up to the ST lovers shop where you get s chance to buy things before they go to market. Mark Henry knows his product and cookware and it is the only product I have where I get to speak to the founder of the company and ask advice in the facebook group. So thank you for that!
