Shutterstock Tracking Order Status

My experience with Shutterstock was a good one. They have great content and the free trial is a great way to initially access these. I found it easy to cancel my subscription. I will happily return for a paid subscription in future.

I usually look into companies before I purchase trials and/or products. A little bit of research would have gone a LONG way with this company. As so many others on this site, I signed up for a free trial to download a few images to use for a presentation that I was doing. Despite requesting to not auto-renew and asking to cancel, I was checking my bank statement two months later and saw that I had paid for 2 additional months! I got on chat with a customer service rep, who initially told me that I would have to pay a cancellation fee equivalent to the difference between the "discounted" monthly rate I had been receiving and the "typical" monthly rate (roughly $40). I expressed my disappointment with the company's model and told him that I would pay the fee but would be deleting my account and encouraging others to do the same. The rep found a mysterious policy that got me out of the fee. We'll see if I still have gotten charged...

I really love the shutterstock images. I was making quizzes and they really turned out nice. I also want to share that I had a billing situation. The young man I spoke with was so good at diffusing my anxiety. He/company was able to resolve my concerns in a very timely fashion.

Ein Service, den man von so großen Unternehmen normalerweise nicht erwarten würde. Dankeschön! Da passt der Top Customer Service zu den sehr guten digitalen Produkten!

If you're a beginner photographer who'd like to earn some cents from your works, this is an okay site. Of course there are better ways to make more money off your photography skills but consider Shutterstock as a side income. I wish the submission process would be a bit more flexible.
