Shinola Tracking Order Status

purchased a Shinola Duck watch because it looks good & the company positions itself as made in America. Well, the watch still looks good but it hasn't run continuously since I bought it despite multiple battery changes. Shinola claims that most problems are battery related, and only in very rare situations is the movement a problem. The battery is not the problem & I suspect the made in America tag is a facade behind which sit cheap foreign made parts. The only movement that has given me any satisfaction was to move the non-working watch back into the box!

I’m a little shocked that I saw some poor reviews for Shinola watches. I purchased my first Shinola, I think in 2013. Since then I’ve purchased 9 watches. Obviously I love them. Dave at the Logan Circle location in Washington DC is an incredible person to work with. He is not just knowledgeable when it comes to Shinola but will help anyway he can. I will continue to buy Shinola and especially from Dave. I look forward to more Detrola models. Thanks, Shinola!

I live in Canada, and purchased a watch and a wallet last year. The products were great until about 6 months... the seam on the wallet split open, so now it can only hold cards on one side - the slots for cards were clearly not large enough for credit/debit cards. The watch battery died after 5 months, and guess what!? you have to send the watch to "authorized dealers" to maintain the warranty, and turns out there is only one dealer in canada... $800 watch, have to spend $100 a year (shipping and replacement battery). The watch strap started to fade and wilt, so i tried ordering a new one... There is no where to find out what watch i have - no serial number spec lookup... nothing. Ordered the wrong strap - and they want to charge $75 to replace... The watch strap is $200 (1/4 the price of the watch)... I recommend you spend your money elsewhere, especially if youre from canada.

I have worn a Shinola watch for 5 years. I upgraded the strap from leather to a 5-link gold bracelet and moved from US to UK. After a few years, I needed a new link for the bracelet. My problem was trickier than the usual things handled by their EU repairs company. I was able to contact Shinola in the US from UK, and they sent me what I needed at no charge - breathing new life and wearability into my watch.

Very happy with this purchase. I went to their Detroit store. Excellent service. The watch is quartz movement. The leather is soft and good quality. Happy to support an American business. No issues.
