I was supposed to have my order shipped on 1/17. I'm in Ohio and we got hit with a snow storm. I figured my shipment was just delayed. I kept checking my emails to see if I would be notified and kept checking my door since it's just a drop off. Nothing! So I call Tuesday, 1/18, customer service was horrible. He does tell me my order will be shipped this Saturday, 1/22! Still no email to tell me that! And you can't just email them anymore, I got an email back saying: In an effort to provide our customers with timely and accurate customer service, we have discontinued the use of email as a “contact us” channel. Really!?? They sure as heck email me about my order and when they take funds from my account or when they don't have what I ordered. They can't send a courteous email saying my shippment will be delayed a week??? I don't think he understood, he sends me a link to create an account. OMG!! I'm not mad at the driver by any means but I am however livid that you didn't notify me about the change in delivery. A week is a huge deal!! I cant believe I had to call and find out. And I'm irritated you don't have helpful customer service!

My delivery driver is amazing...let's make sure that's understood first. But, ever since the company was taken over by a south Korean company several years ago, the quality of the food and the customer service have become some of the worst in the industry. Further, popular items that I had come to depend on in rotation in our home have disappeared and/or become discontinued, with little or no notice. While I want to continue to use Schwans, it's becoming harder for me to justify the costs (many items I CAN get cheaper locally AND either pick them up or have them delivered). I'm afraid that Schwans is becoming a dinosaur in the modern industry and will continue to go downhill and disappoint it's large and faithful customer base.

Most of the food is very good. Some prices are too high. Kids love the ice creams and treats! Delivery driver is always very nice.

Today is the last day I get service from schwan's, I have been disrespected for the last time. The delivery driver told me that they don't accept cash anymore. This is un American.
