Rentals.com Tracking Order Status

My flight was delayed due to Orlando airport being closed for lightning and by the time I landed, the car rental company was closed. I had to take a taxi to the hotel which cost me $100. When I contacted Rental.com they said that they “had to” charge me a 3 day penalty because I didn’t pick the car up before the rental company closed.

Their service is a bit poor and I hope they improve and get better soon

They advertise a place for $890 for a two bedroom, I called , and the Manager stated , its just strarts as marketing advertising, when the rental is $1205.00 for a two Bedroom ..this is not acceptable for advertising a false rental..." Poor way of doing rental business " ...

I posted my home for rent and the response was much less than expected. There were 5 "inquiries" in 4 days and two of them were my wife sending an email in to see if the system worked. I realize 5 inquiries in 4 days may seem like a lot but the other site that i signed up for that was "FREE" yielded 12 leads. I ended up renting the home out in 3 days on the Free site. Just an FYI

I am very disappointed in the interest generated by a "Premium" listing. I've used this site in the past with good results. This time almost not interest! The property I listed received only 2 inquiries from rentals.com during the 10 days it was listed. Strategically placed "For rent" signs (2) brought 15 inquiries and the property was rented from sign inquiries before the current tenant vacated. Clearly this site not longer has a significant view base.
