I have this giftcard I tried to access its details and couldn't. I try to logIn and it says there is no account associated to it. I tries their chat box, put the correct number of the order it says its invalid. I have now lost about 15min trying to find an email or a number to call and explain my issue but nothing. How come a company sell millions of dollars in giftcards but won't make itself available to talk to its customers if they need help using them. that's very disappointing! And so far I am $500 short cause my problem was still not solved Update: they contacted me and restored my account so as I could acess the giftcard details so solved my issue but man, why make me go through the whole pain of trying to find a number or speak with a person and be frustrated at rhe end after not succeeding? My 2 cents for GCX is: next time you need to cancel an user profile do it so only for new purchases. Do not block their acess to giftcards they already bought. This will for sure save you a lot of new emails in your inbox and dissatisfied customers. But at the end, they did solve my issue and I am grateful for that.

I’ve used Raise/GCX for a few years, and my experience was great until a few weeks ago. I had purchased a $50 gift card that was never sent, so I reached out to customer service. No response. I reached out again. No reply. I reached out again. Still nothing. Finally, after 9 separate AI chat messages without a human response, I contacted my bank and had the charge removed. This finally got Raise/GCX’s attention. Two weeks later, I received an email attempting the rectify the situation. I told the representative that I had already gotten the charge removed and no longer needed the gift card, so I didn’t need any further assistance. The representative did not listen and decided to add the gift card to my account. This only created more problems. I tried to log into my account to purchase a different gift card, but I couldn’t because my account was frozen. I emailed the customer service representative, who told me that I needed to cancel the dispute with my bank if I wanted to use my account again. Ridiculous. I didn’t need the gift card anymore; I needed it 3 weeks prior. And now, because I disputed the charge with my bank after weeks of no response, I’m being punished. Apparently, the “delivers instantly” part of the gift card doesn’t actually hold water when put to the test. This broke my heart. I have honestly spent thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars on Raise/GCX in the last year alone. I use it every day. So, my wife created another account so that I could keep using GCX, which only created more problems. GCX realized that I was trying circumvent the block on my account and immediately froze my second account… after I had purchased a $50 gift card. The customer service representative told me that I could still use the gift cards that I had already purchased, but this is a flat out lie. I cannot log into the website or the app, so I cannot use the gift cards I have purchased. I’m not sure how to rectify the situation at this point, but it looks like I have not only been taken for $50 but also blocked from a website I use every day and have promoted by telling friends and family about it. My best hope at this point is for my friends, my family, and anyone reading this to delete their accounts and not get taken, too.

My experience with Raise over the years has been excellent. Today, I purchased Airbnb gift cards at almost 10% off, plus an extra 3% off for signing up for their deals, and all 3 cards were delivered instantly and worked flawlessly. Great company.

The lockouts suck I’ll be honest. But they restore my account without me having to contact them now, previously it was a headache and i hated interacting with them. Now that they transitioned to raise they remove the locks automatically or something. Of course FIXING the locking issue would be the best thing to do. But hey not my circus, not my clown. At least i get my giftcards. I haven’t had a bad experience with that ever. Thankfully.

I have been using Raise for years and its a hit n miss on items. Yesterday I received an email about their semi annual sale. The site does not match what is offered in the email. I chatted with an agent who told me it would be corrected later that night or the follow morning and to check back. Here we are in the evening of the following day and its still wrong. I did another chat and was told the team that works on that is gone for the day and they can open a ticket. But also said to check the dates... umm I already said the email doesnt have dates, then refers me to the site. What is the site going to say??? THE POINT IS THAT ITS WRONG ON THE SITE FROM THE EMAIL! I feel like they send out email promotions just to get you to the site and hope you dont notice and still place an order. When it works its a great site but WHEN IT WORKS.
