PromGirl Tracking Order Status

Now this is mainly for people abroad: it costs about an additional 190 pounds for a duty fee charge abroad which THEY DO NOT PAY FOR. IF YOUR ABROAD YOU PAY AN EXTRA 190 pounds. ASWELL AS THE 40 pounds SHIPPING !!! They will not give you the package if you do not pay for it and will probably keep it and not refund you. DONT FALL FOR THIS TRAP !!!So I did end up having to pay about 700 pounds in total for a 400 pounds dress.. But as for the dress that I bought, I was scared that they would get wrong colour, wrong size because I read the reviews. But the dress came 3 days before the expected delivery date !! And it was the right size, colour, everything!! I dont really understand why everyone else got the wrong size and colour but I didn't so take it as you will. Now because I was happy with my dress I didnt need a refund so I cant say anything about that but I guarantee its very hard to refund from promgirl and there customer service wasnt great when I asked them about it.. But in all I am happy with my dress but I do not appreciate how little they warned me about the duty fee and how expensive it made the parcel be.

I gave two stars because the dress itself is beautiful, but before you buy anything from Promgirl there are several things you should know. I had several issues. First, I ordered a Burgandy but the dress is more of a "wine". I could have overlooked that. Also, the measurements were way off. I measured myself and used the suggested measurements and the dress is way to big at the top and even in the waist. It is also much too long and I'm pretty tall at 5 foot 8. It will need an extensive amount of work to make it right and will probably cost more than I paid for the dress. But that isn't even the reason I will never shop here again! Just read the small print because Promgirl does not take returns for refunds, even if you never wear the dress. They will allow you to return the dress, and then "maybe" they will allow you to switch it out for another one, but after taking seven days to "inspect" the dress to make sure you didn't do anything to it. In reading some of the reviews here on Trust Pilot and other sites I have seen that some people never get a different dress, nor do they get their dress they paid for back. So I did keep my dress but had to go buy something else for this event since I don't have the time for extensive alterations. I usually research a little better than this but was in a hurry and needed something. But, do yourself a favor and just go to a physical shop and buy a dress, or find somewhere else online who doesn't have such shady practices.

They don't take returns, basically. Even though they USED to, and they advertise "EASY RETURNS", they are not easy. First you have 5 days. I ordered 5 dresses for my daughter and we've now received 3 different packages (which sucks, because it means you can't try the dresses on all together). I went to put my return in and realized it's only STORE CREDIT. This was not their prior policy -- it's obviously changed. So I've ordered $1250 worth of dresses and only want ONE. What a massive waste of $$. I was better off going to the local special occasion shops and spending the usual $500 on a dress. They may look reasonably priced on the surface but it's not. The dresses themselves were decent but nothing you couldn't get other places if you did the actual shopping.

Her dress was wayyy sparklier than we anticipated- she was so happy. DD aged 16 got scammed by another dress website and came back immediately to PromGirl. She LOVED last year's Hoco dress and is equally delighted with this year's dress, which arrived in 3 days!! She actually said, "From now on, it's PromGirl ONLY!!! They never let me down."
