If you’re looking for liberal brainwashing and anti-conservative news, the PPG is for you. I used to read it front to back and they always had a left side bias. Unfortunately it’s getting a lot worse over the last 15 yrs and the editorials are often written by extreme college professors, civil rights lawyers, and socialists. Out of habit I glance at some of the stories on my way to the sports section. I just shake my head and wonder what happened to the mainstream media (abc, cbs, nbc, and so many newspapers). It breaks my heart and hopefully people research stories and dig for the facts. I would rather these sources unite us rather than divide us. If you asked anyone who escaped communism, they’ll tell you they divide the country in half and the media floods the socialist propaganda. It’s hard trusting politicians anymore and if you look at every major city, you’ll see rapid decline and it’s at the hand of the same political party.

Stop leaving my fn paper in the rain. You don’t even seal the bag you put it in. My paper is often soaking wet. You have one job and you can’t do it properly.

In January 2019 I purchased a one year subscription to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette for 7-day a week delivery of a printed paper to my home. In the Spring PPG announced they were eliminating two days a week and going to an online version of the paper. I called to see about a refund for the days I would not be receiving or an extension to my subscription but was told I could use the PPG slide version on those days. I pointed out that I and so many other older subscribers are either not computer proficient, don't own a tablet to use the PPG slide, or just want to sit in our recliner in the morning with paper in hand, not glued to a computer screen trying to read the daily news. Now they have cut 2 more days of the paper, so I am only receiving 3 papers each week instead of the 7 that I've paid for. In addition to how this has impacted me and so many other subscribers, the employees (some former) have lost their benefits and/or jobs while the owner continues to host Kentucky Derby parties and attend expensive galas. He is a thief, pure and simple. Now the Post Gazette is now running expensive ads on the TV promoting the PPG Slide and stating how wonderful it is. What a stupid marketing strategy to insult the intelligence of the subscribers who have already been insulted and disrespected. I do not own a tablet to ready the paper on each day nor do I want to read my paper in this manner. This is being promoted as an option but it is not since there is now no alternative for the 4 days a week that I have been robbed of the paper that I paid for. The jerk who owns the paper could care less about his employees or subscribers. I just keep hoping someone will file a class action lawsuit against the owner for breach of contract. The owner is a thief, pure and simple. His country club friends should shun him for the criminal that he is.
