PoolTables.com made my day. I bought from them for two reasons. First, as a so-so pool player who has never before owned his own table, I wanted to know what to look for in a well-made one that might help spruce-up my game. Second, I was looking for a great looking piece of furniture that would complement my house and game room, in case I turned out to be total crap as a pool player. Initially, I tried to find a local shop where I might talk to someone and see what kind of tables they had. No luck there. Next I started checking websites with mixed results; i.e., nothing that impressed me - until I found PoolTables.com online. Their website provided all the information I needed, including things I hadn't thought of such as minimum room size (I barely made it there). But what really sold me was their picture gallery showing an impressive number of models and styles. I picked the 'Sedona' which is more modern yet stately, having absolutely gorgeous dark wood and leather pockets. Not cheap but worth the money. The company then recommended an installation service. I'm reasonably good at installing things, why not this pool table and save a little money? If you think that way, you might want to watch their video showing what's involved, then reconsider. I'm so glad I did. The 'white Glove' service I dealt with picked up the kit from a shipment depot, verified no damage, no missing parts, then carefully installed it in my home. Fascinating to watch three heavy slate pieces being joined and individually adjusted with leveling screws, edges sealed with beeswax, top covered with stretched cloth, leather pockets installed. Even if one buys a used pool table, you're not going to be able to just set it up like a ping-pong table in your home After playing a few games with friends and watching 'how-to' videos on U-Tube, I think my pool game is going to be all right. I'm really enjoying that part of my purchase. But what brings a smile to my face is the way the table looks - it's a flat-out beautiful piece of craftsmanship. I should charge the Spencer & Marston Billiards Company with sleep disturbance - I get up nights just to go look at their handywork. I'm now inclined to believe in the words of poet John Keats: "A thing of beauty is a joy forever". I bet he owned a pool table.

Never thought of buying a pool table online but after shopping around, we decided to take a chance. The first great thing was the price, then customer service was excellent, but still had a few doubts about the actual product. We can tell you to take the leap, the table is beautiful. We ordered on Thursday and were playing pool on Tuesday. The white glove installers were terrific too. Be sure to get that! You won’t be sorry with this company!

I really appreciate the expertise of the staff for both the ordering process and the set-up. It was clear to me that they wanted to help me make good decisions on the front end to avoid any regrets. The setup is just perfect and the ball-roll is true - even though it is a 3-piece slate top.

The whole process of purchasing the Chesapeake table was made easy by Phil and the team. Scheduling delivery and assembly was simple and they arrived exactly on time. The 2 delivery guys were very friendly and helpful. In all took a little over an hour. The table was leveled perfectly and set up exactly where requested. It has been a pleasure to interact with everyone and already to make my next purchase to go along with the table.

After being disappointed with 2 Simonis cloth suppliers that claimed they had the Slate Gray color in stock and ultimately not being able to deliver after payment, I reached out to Justin at Pooltables.com and he confirmed product availability and provided an option for next day air to get the cloth onetime for my install. Not happy I had to pay an extra $54 for shipping when I could have received it on time for free from the other 2 vendors. Justin followed up and the install went well
