Have not had good experiences with…

Have not had good experiences with Perdue Online. On my first order, the pkg. of bacon had a broken vacuum seal and the meat was brown and slimy. I called them and let them know and that customer service rep didn't even bother to send out another package of bacon. On another order, the box had been badly damaged in transit. There was moisture all over inside the box. This last time, I ordered, but had to cancel that order the next day well in advance of the order being processed and shipped. My email was ignored or never read at all. When I received an email stating that my order was about to ship I called Perdue Customer Service. A woman told me she would check on this issue and asked if she could text me or email me with her findings. Two days later I still hadn't heard anything from her so I called and got another customer service rep. She confirmed that my order was in route to me, but told me they had refunded my entire amount. I wish their customer service reps would just be honest and stop wasting our time. This is my very last order online from Perdue. Its not worth my time or money.

False Advertisement

What went wrong is that they had a ten dollar deal for chicken wings with a air fryer. This deal was suppose to start at 12pm as depicted on their website. I was on the website from 10am, it came live at 11:30 am I put one in the cart already had all my information inputted in the system and by time hit check out it said they were all gone. For one the website opened 30 mins early this is FALSE ADVERTISEMNT on the half of the company. I feel robbed of my opportunity. I doubt this company cares enough to make it right.

I Horrible Perdue chicken tendersbought Perdue farms chicken tenders…

I bought Perdue farms chicken tenders at shop rite two days ago. Last night opened the packages to make dinner. There was a big vein running through each chicken tender. Unusable. One or two pieces of chicken tenders were smashed beyond recognition. I am returning them to ShopRite. Will never buy Perdue again

Shabby, shoddy customer care

Just had possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever known from Perdue Farms. We ordered a few hundred dollars worth of food--a turkey, a turkey breast, chicken thighs, cheesecakes, and ground beef. When the package arrived, the turkey breast was not included. I called and asked that they send it separately and was informed that their policy does not allow shipping a frozen single item. I have never had a company that had made a mistake in an order not bend over backwards to rectify the problem. While I recognize there is a cost involved for them in doing so, they have been penny wise and pound foolish. Instead of having a happy customer and repeat business, they have lost a customer for life. Shabby, shoddy customer care.

Poor Customer Service and poor business…

Poor Customer Service and poor business practices On December 28th, 2020 we placed an order for our pet. They offered free shipping on orders over $159.99. However, this is kind of a marketing ploy because in order to receive the 10% discount, you have to order more than the 159.99. In other words, we met the threshold for the shipping, but when we applied the 10% discount, it brought us under the required amount for the free shipping and we thus had to order something else to reach the threshold again. Nevertheless, we placed the order. When we received the order, it was a mess. Somehow, the bags of dry ice had been cut open and the box and the contents inside of the box were wet. Not only wet, but packages had appeared to have allowed condensation inside the doggy products. We could see moisture on the inside of the bags. One bag was opened at the crease. We dont know why they would ship bags that were not sealed, but they did. We took photos of the inside of the box to try and show not only was it wet, but the bottom had appeared to be sliced in several places. SOMETHING was acting as a knife. We tossed the treats. (our suspicion is the plastic acted as a sharp instrument while being bounced around during shipping) We called and complained. We wanted to replace the order, but only the dog treats. We even told them do not replace the salmon because this would force the shipment to be sent in dry ice. We didn't expect the dog treats to be wet because when we had purchased them several times in the past from another on-line company, they are always dry upon receipt. They are never shipped on ice. And I told the rep not to send them with ice. The Perdue Farms website even says; ""How We Ship Pet Products Order for pet treats only: Products, along with a free grocery tote and pollinator seed packet, will be packed in a non-insulated cardboard box. Order for pet treats plus frozen premium proteins: Pet treats, along with a free grocery tote and pollinator seed packet, will be placed on top of proteins in an insulated box that is filled with dry ice to maintain quality of frozen products."" We didnt want to go through the whole wet thing again. We explained this to the customer service person. About six days later we called again to ask about the shipping. The replacement had not been shipped yet. The woman was nice and said she would send out an email as to when the replacement would be shipped out and would also include a discount code for a future purchase. We did receive the order shipping number, but no discount ever came. We received the order and lo and behold it was shipped in dry ice. We didn't want this to happen, but it did. We only wanted to replace what we had thrown out. And of course, no one would believe this would happen again, right? One of the bags had been sliced open like in the last shipment. I cannot believe this has never happened to anyone else. Why didn't they send this order in a dry box as outlined in their website?? They sent some chicken wings and while this was a nice gesture, we didnt want our pet snacks to be sent on ice. We wanted them received completely dry. We gave them a 3 star because our dog loves many of the snacks. The pet food has always been a hit. Especially the Chicken Apple Sausage. But this was a terrible experience for a first-time purchase.
