I really like the ethics and concept of this company: stylish clothes made by correctly paid workers. BUT their sizing for any kind of curve really doesn't work. It also takes a really long time to get a refund. I've gone through the process a couple of times now and it just doesn't work.

Recently bought some women's underwear from them and another vendor as looking for sustainable options, unfortunately the people tree pants were an odd cut - slightly tight in some places, uncomfortable to wear with not very soft fabric and i would return except for no returns policy on underwear - so £30 down the drain. The other vendor's (Boody) pants were by contrast soft fabric, very comfortable fit and also sustainable.

I ordered £65 worth of items and Royal Mail initially lost my order. My order on their website showed that it was delivered when it never was. Despite raising this with People Tree, and constant back and forth with them, I received no help and no idea what would happen to the £65 I had spent on their website. My husband chased with Royal Mail who admitted that they had mislocated the parcel and were understaffed and finally delivered it to us on the 11th Nov, a delay of almost 2 weeks. The customer service from People among the worst I've ever experienced. When in other stores (and I regularly shop at & other stories) when a parcel is lost, I'm refunded. I finally managed to get my parcel but this will be my first and last order from People Tree as their customer service have no interest in your custom once you've paid and if your parcel if lost will insinuate you're a thief whose trying to steal from them.

Very inconsistent sizing. I am a size 8 for all other brands and have no problem so far. but when I ordered 2 pairs of trousers from Peopletree in size 8, one of them is too big and long to the point that the bottom part would touch the floor even when I'm in heels; while the other is too tight to the point I couldn't put it on. Moreover, there's no size chart on the website for the second pair so there's no way I could have known.

I'm really loathe to do this because I love People Tree and their clothing is excellent quality but no one is responding to my emails and my order still hasn't arrived after almost 2 weeks. Like others, I had an email after one week to say one item on my order was out of stock which is why it had been delayed and they immediately refunded me for that item, which I appreciated. I was told to email if I didn't receive a tracking notification within 2 days. No tracking notification was sent so I emailed again. And again. And messaged on Instagram. I have a very strong feeling I'm going to be told the rest of my order is out of stock now, too. The rest of my order totals almost £100 so it's not small change. I shop with people tree because their clothing is beautifully made and it's ethical, but this is really really poor customer service. I absolutely do not expect everything to run perfectly all the time, especially not during a pandemic, but the total lack of any response is not acceptable. Just send an email to say it's being looked into! As far as I know my emails aren't even going through. There's no phone number to call as they're working at home, which is obviously understandable, but you need to reply to emails! I've had multiple emails about sales and promotions though which is really irritating when I don't even get an automated response now! PLEASE can someone respond.
