Origins advertised a 14 piece gift set on orders over £99 as part of their Black Friday promotion. I received an email that my order was dispatched but the free gift was out of stock so would not be sent. So essentially my order was sent without the free gift. When speaking with customer service their reply was as follows: "Unfortunately this offer is subject to availability which is stated on the website. It is also stated that we reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time." However, whilst having this conversation, the same offer was still advertised, and continued to be advertised 3 days later, so they are knowingly misleading buyers, encouraging higher spending knowing they cannot deliver what they offer. Two stars because their moisturisers are nice but would recommend buying their products via more reputable retailers.

Placed an order last week and it has been delivered today, missing one of the main items that I wanted as it is apparently out of stock (yet still available to order on their website?). Tracy on the Customer Service chat explained I would need to re-order next week when it is back in stock, which wasn't that helpful. I explained that I wouldn't receive the discount and order one item under their free P&P threshold means I would have to pay postage. Tracy helpfully advised I can get in touch once the order is made and they will honour the price (gave me a case ID to reference), which is appreciated. However, feedback for Origins - if an item isn't in stock at that moment, A) don't advertise it on your website, B) consider contacting customers to explain their will be a delay or C) contact your customers and offer an alternative or refund on the missing item. I now have to place another order, get in touch with customer services to hopefully refund the difference (taking mine and their staff time up) and it just isn't that efficient or good customer service. So praise for Tracy but negative overall considering the hassle this has now become to get the item I really wanted in the first place.

Very pleased with my purchase. I ordered the brighten, firm and hydrate gift set on the 16th Dec for my son for Christmas. I picked standard delivery so wasn't sure it would arrive in time which would be my own fault. It arrived today 21st Dec and it is in a very strong box, no damages and absolutely beautifully presented inside with the 4 free gifts I picked. 😀 I'm glad I ignored the bad reviews because people are always quick to complain and I have done this myself, but I always try and put a positive review when it's warranted. Once my son has used the products I will add another review.

We really like Origins products. Speedy delivery and some fantastic free gifts sent that we look forward to using!
