I've been a paying subscriber to OpenAI's services, but I recently canceled my subscription due to persistent issues and a frustrating lack of support. The most recent problem was flashing text in the sidebar, which made the interface useless to me. Albeit a temporary problem, this caused me a lot of frustration, especially due to the fact there was no viable way to report or resolve it through customer support until after I canceled. It feels backward that feedback is only requested once you've already decided to leave. However, an even bigger concern is that OpenAI restricts access from certain regions, including mine—the Åland Islands. Åland is an autonomous region of Finland, where OpenAI is available, yet for no clear legal or practical reason, access to OpenAI is blocked here. In their FAQ, OpenAI even warns that attempting to use their service from an unsupported region could result in account suspension. This is both frustrating and discriminatory for users who want legitimate access but are unfairly excluded. Without a direct way to raise these concerns, it feels like OpenAI is more focused on reacting to lost customers rather than providing proactive, supportive solutions. I hope they improve their support channels and reconsider these unreasonable regional restrictions to ensure more inclusive access for all users.

Revolutionary product. And cheap API gives so many possibilties. I am very thankful to OpenAI.
