Omaha Steaks Tracking Order Status

I have ordered periodically since 2014 or so. My most recent order was about a year ago. My favorite is the ground beef patties. I buy several dozen with each order. they are the handiest. I put on the Foreman grill for 4 minutes from the frozen state and they're medium rare! The 5 and 6 oz are enough, when they're the 4oz I cook two. Tonight I cooked a meatlovers lasagne. It's made with beef and chicken. As beef was at the beginning of the list and chicken was towards the bottom I would think there was not as much chicken. It had good pasta, lots of ground meat, and almost no flavor. The meat had no favor. I couldn't taste the tomato, onion or carrots. The cheese was lacking, as in there was very little. The flavor non existent. I don't plan to order the lasagne again. I don't like chicken breast meat so when I end up with a variety pack I give the chicken breast away. I have never asked how the recipient liked it. The port chops from 3 different orders were mushy. I had given my parents a box and they mentioned the pork chops were mushy. I had the other two orders with several years in between orders. I enjoyed the filets and sirloin steaks. The deserts are always good. Cheesecake, yes. I though ended up with the apple tarts burned to the pan no matter what I did. It seems that there was another dessert but I'm at a loss. The "stacked" potato au grautin were good, as were the older au grautin that were formed in balls. I liked that these were frozen individually, nice for a single person.

Ordered package of meat was told for $30 more add 4 filet steaks 2 sides. Received 4 filet burgers and the 2 sides. Didn't order filet burgers, wouldn't ever pay $30 for any burgers. I thought $30 for 4 steaks was a stretch. I called customer service, the lady said she was sorry. You boast 100% customer satisfaction, well this customer isn't satisfied at all. How about sending steaks I was told I would get The ice was long gone, some of boxes didn't even feel cool, why expect anything more from this company. Words are cheap...stand behind them. Review updated after opening box.

I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. Recently I have had to complain on a few occasions. Meat arrived thawed out but was resent. It's tougher now than in the past to get in touch with customer service. I received daily text messages from Omaha with special deals. After complaining the text messages stopped completely. It makes me wonder if you call and voice concern they no longer want to deal with you.

What made my experience great is that I can count on Omaha's consistent great quality, and how everything comes packed frozen solid.On that note, I am very disappointed the carrier they use"Fedex". I have delivery instructions written on my account that are NEVER followed. Please ring the bell and put delivery on the tables provided. Well , the table part is not the issue. They just NEVER, EVER, ring my bell that is 3ft. from the table. During the summer months this has been our greatest challenge, one that hasn't yet been corrected. Most importantly, Omaha is highly respected and appreciated in our family. During the Pandemic, when we had difficulty getting meat, and poultry, Omaha was there. Just a bit of a critique if I may. Promotions are a bit, consistently boring, and not much for incentives. I think they should target promotions based on what a specific customer uses on a more consistent basis. I mean how many burger promotions can one family utilize? We get the same promos more than twice a day. Not a day goes by, that I can count on having the same promotions in my inbox, and or text messages. I remember instictively when Omaha gave useful cooking tools, that actually were true value, as incentives. That has stopped. Overall, I must say, Omaha Steaks is the go to for consistent quality, and accountability at a competitive price, yet a bit pricey on some. The customer service experience has always been exemplary. I the convenience and quality is great. I hesitated for years then eventually tried it and I was pleased. I am picky about my food and found the quality, conveniance to be awesome. I sent a package to family for Chistmas and they loved it. It's great.
