Office Chair @ Work Tracking Order Status

I received the chair, so that's more than some people have, looking at these reviews. When I placed the order, I was quoted 5-15 business days for delivery. After 15 business days, the chair had not arrived so I began email correspondence with them. I was told that actually it would be 15-30 business days and, after I sent them a screenshot of my order (that showed 5-15 business days) I was told I would "probably get it within a week". I received it today, which is 19 business days from the order, so I guess not too bad, although I would have preferred it sooner. I might add that the UPS tracking number I got has shown "label created" from the very start until now, with no changes, so that was not a very useful way for me to track it. The chair itself is supposed to come "pre-built". It mostly was, but I had to afix the back of the chair to the bottom of it myself. You'll need a certain sized screwdriver and a certain sized alan key to be able to actually install the screws properly, so if you don't have them, you're SOL until you get some. After finally getting the chair ready, I sat in it and it actually feels pretty comfortable so fingers crossed I can use the chair for some time going forwards. This is the reason it's a 3 star review and not 2 star. I may come back and amend the score after using the chair for some time. [Edit] I might also add that the chair does not look brand new. It looks like its been used for some time and maybe moved around with dirty boots. I was kind of expecting second-hand for the price, but I would like it to at least look clean. [Edit 2] I think if the email responses had been a bit more customer-friendly I would have left a better review and the bad things wouldn't have bothered me so much. I did always receive replies to my emails and I received the chair so I do not believe this company is a scam company, they just need to up their customer-service game and perhaps include the necessary tools so that you can properly install the chair.

I received my Herman Miller Aeron C and it is great! Looks brand new and every option is working perfectly! This is our second purchase, and third chair over the past 4 years. While it does take a few weeks to receive the chair, it's important to realize that they are the only seller of used Herman Miller chairs that offer the 12 year Herman Miller Warranty,... so their chairs are in very high demand. I wrote to them several times asking about my chair and always received a reply usually within minutes, reiterating the length of time it takes and offering me to continue to wait for my chair, or refund if I wanted to, or pay the expedited fee. Of course, I did not want to refund... so I had to either continue to wait or pay the expedited fee. Yes, there is an option to pay an expedited fee which would allow your order to be pulled ahead of others in the long queue... and you would receive your chair much faster. Is this reasonable.. yes, I think it is. They have a very organized system, so to have your order pulled out of the sequence and sent ahead of others who paid before you did, is an additional process for them. Chair purchased January 22, 2023, chair received February 25,2023. The chair is great, the wait is long... ( can be several weeks) but in the end, it is a fantastic opportunity to own a genuine Herman Miller Aeron at a much more affordable price. Great chair, great price, great warranty!

I found this company to have excellent customer service. Very responsive. They are some sort of aggregator and have access to new or returned but new parts and send you a legitimate brand name chair for less than retail. If your unhappy with anything they are willing to work with you to come to a happy conclusion.

I did not like the chair that I received (Steelcase Leap v2). I sent about 8 emails asking for help returning the chair and I was able to get something worked out for a free return label and full refund. The customer support was fast in replying to my messages, they usually responded to one of my messages within 24 hours. If you are considering purchasing from the website, here are 3 things I would suggest. 1. Make sure you read the terms and conditions on their webpage. You should be aware of what does and does not qualify for free shipping/warranty/full refund/restocking fee. 2. Understand that they sell refurbished items so cosmetic damage such as loose threads, stained steel, scuff marks are to be expected and may not qualify for a full refund. 3. Understand shipping will take some time. The Estimation for my chair was 5-15 business days and my package arrived in about 2 weeks. I am giving 3 stars because even though my refund and free shipping does not qualify under their terms and conditions, they allowed it because I am leaving an honest review of their service.

Because they have the lowest price around, I was a bit skeptical that Office Chair @ Work would deliver. My fears were unfounded. The Herman Miller chair came on time and was in great condition. Their customer service was awesome - helping me solve a minor issue with the adjustable lumbar support. Take this word from a satisfied customer, “You can trust them.” - Dave A., New London, CT
