I ordered a gazebo online June 3. they immediately take payment for item their website states 10-14 days for shipping. today is the 17th day order says still processing. It takes forever on hold to get through to customer service. They do not answer emails or return calls if you leave them a message. After waiting forever on hold I am told they are running a week or so behind with shipping and after all they aren't amazon. Clearly I knew they weren't amazon when I ordered but 17 days and order is still being processed seems a bit excessive my payment wasn't processing for 17 days when they took it.

This store lied to me. I paid $800 for nothing but frustration and grief thanks to ocean state job lot! I arranged with customer service and a local store to return a defective mattress. I was informed that because I did not have access to the original credit card they would put the funds on a different card. This did not happen at the store because of an employee error and disregard of instructions. In the end after dealing with countless calls, they did not take responsibility for the mistake and left me with no money or mattress for my baby and I. I’m writing this to inform people and potential business partners of their ethics. This was a large purchase and I did not imagine that they would ever do something like this. I will go further with whatever avenues I can find but the investment in time, stress and loss of money during the holidays as well as the ptsd triggering feelings of harm have taken a toll. I am submitting a small claim.

I like the store but I feel quality is hit or miss. I bought a air fryer which was around $80 but worked only for 9 months or so. I bought wheel barrow recently only to find after assembling that the tube is leaking. I had to then buy another tube to fix it.

I like this store. There are a lot of good deals but you need to be careful. Not everything is at a discount price. Just know your prices. Most of their prices beat Amazon prices but not all of them. The oddest of things are at full price, so just be aware before you get to the register. For example, greeting cards are at the price on the back of the card. That said, you can watch the sales and Crazy Deals and literally get items for free. For Insider Members (free to join) you can buy certain Crazy Deals that give you back the entire amount to spend in the store. And they have recently introduced a buy online and pickup in store service. You have to wait until it ships to the store but many of the items give you the entire price back to spend in the store. Not all of them. Some only give you a dollar amount back. I go on the average of every two weeks, so it is worth it for me. If you don't shop there often, then Crazy Deals might not interest you. Now for the service, that is why the 4 stars instead of 5. Checkout is a slow process, depending on the day, especially if you need a price check. All the employees and cashiers are pleasant, but not all of them are knowledgeable as to the current promotions. It's best to go prepared and when you are not in a hurry. For me, it's worth the slight extra time for the discounts to be had. Their outdoor seasonal supplies are usually well-stocked and they usually have a small selection of plants and flowers.

This store/ company is just the rock-bottom worst! Went to the store I Valatie, NY, purchased a handful of pedestal fans; 3 of which are without-a-doubt defective. The store told ME to reach out to the manufacturer. I reached out to the corporate office instead, and they told me that THEY would reach out to the manufacturer. They did, and about 5 weeks later, they sent me an email stating that the replacements for the defective parts were at the store. I went back to the store, no one there had any idea what I was referring to. Called corporate on the spot and got absolutely nowhere. Left the store, came home, sent and email: NO RESPONSE. Today. I happened to be in the same shopping center so I stopped in to the store. Not only did they have no idea what I was talking about, they were adamant “ we don’t even do that”. So thanks, Ocean State Job Loy, for stealing over $60 from this hard-working mother, for making no attempt at providing genuine customer service and for allowing your store employees to treat customers like an inconvenience.
