My son was locked out of his xbox account and Sam in the customer service team was amazing at getting it sorted

Good purchase and will continue as a Microsoft customer.

I have just purchased Microsoft Office 2021 and couldn't have done it without the excellent help of Charles. He guided me through every step. A credit to the Microsoft Store

I bought a new Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio and am really enjoying the experience, its a great product for me. I have avoided Microsoft for years as I heard they had a bad reputation. But I got a significant discount and their Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio has an awesome graphic tablet mode. For something that is graphics orientated it was a shame it didn't come with a pen, that was £114 extra, but even with the pen it was quite a good deal. It is much sturdier than other things I tried like a galaxy book which felt pretty flimsy for the price and the sound on Windows 11 did not work so I had to return, but this Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio has the solid feel like the MacBook. Works like a dream, even with Windows 11. Bluetooth connects no problem, no lag. Typing is smooth. Unlike the other 2 in 1 tablet/PCs which fold back in tablet mode but means you have the keyboard exposed facing down, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio screen just slides forward into Tent Mode to be able to watch videos etc with the track pad exposed so you can still use it, and it folds flat with the base still solidly on a surface and you can lean on it and draw. One drawback that doesn't bother me is that it is slightly heavier than some other portable laptops. I wouldn't want to carry this around as I have a hand/arm disability and this would be a bit heavy for me. However I just wanted an update for PC use and this is great. When it arrived I was a little worried that the device had already been registered to a "default user", not me, so I couldn't sign into Windows initially but realised that default users do sometimes register in the factory to check tech stuff and load software etc. However, I had read that Microsoft have terrible customer service and was worried about contacting them. I used their chat customer service and I have to say I had no problem at all. Despite it being busy, they answered right away and then I explained my concerns in Chat and they put me through to the tech team who registered my query and offered a replacement which I refused as there's nothing wrong with my device, it was just a concern, and I was able to reset the PC OK and wipe off any technical default users. They said if I had any problems with the device, just in case a default user had caused problems in the device, I could contact them right away and they had logged my concerns and given me a ticket number just in case i needed tech help or arrange a refund. So all round I am happy with Microsoft. I just wish that like the old days, you could buy their devices with Office preloaded that you could keep permanently. I don't work, but design for a hobby to raise funds and I sell PDF copies of my designs but give it all to charity and I could've done with Word. The subscription services with software these days with additional costs for cloud subscriptions for storage is just out of the question for anyone not earning or on a very low income. I wish they charged businesses a little more and allowed unemployed people to have either free or low cost software. My old PC came with Office preloaded but it is pretty old and not transferable. But back then, not having Word was unthinkable. I have now subscribed to the Affinity products available from the Microsoft Store so have Affinity Publisher for £24.24 (50% off until end of May 2022) and I can set up a template to use for notes or like a wp if I want. Affinity products are yours for a one off fee and no subscriptions. Well worth it whether you're a business or an individual. An equivalent from a well known creative suite is £720 for every 12 mths! My only regret in buying this product is not getting the higher spec 32 GB Ram and 2TB storage but it was extra and this was a gift.

The products are of high quality loved them. I loved them
