My Experience with Metlife Pet…

My Experience with Metlife Pet Insurance was as follows: Easy claim submission, document uploads through the app or email and a quick review period. But if you are a first-time claim submitter, I will warn you about the SOAP NOTES HELL LOOP. You can submit everything, but if you don't submit soap notes and previous medical records for your pet's entire life, the claim will be delayed or denied. That part was frustrating, but after all documentation was sent in, my claim was approved and paid fast directly to my bank account.

Although the reimbursement timeframe…

Although the reimbursement timeframe states 10 days, there is no guarantee when you’ll receive your reimbursement. I’ve submitted a claim on 1/09/25 and as of today, 1/28/25, I have not received my reimbursement. Highly unacceptable as this is the second time this has happened and I’ve only submitted three claims. I will be canceling and switching to Fido.

our fir baby has had three knee…

our fir baby has had three knee surgeries to date and two very expensive sets of x-rays these all combined cost over 17000.00 dollars of which I would not have been able to afford. met life has paid for everything except the 10 % that's in our agreement. I can't thank them enough for their caring staff that has helped us through this. they saved our baby's life. if not for met life I would of had to face the reality of having to put her down. so thank you all at Met life.

Very happy with MetLife

I recently submitted a claim. The company was very responsive and sent some follow up requests, as they require 12 mos. of vet records to do an accurate assessment of tge claim. We only adopted our dog 3 mos. prior, so I called to explain this. The person I spoke with was very friendly, helpful, and took the time to thoroughly look information up and to ensure she communicated my information to the reviewers accurately. I had a response from MetLife very timely, and the claim was addressed. I appreciate the great customer service and the ease in using the website. It's also reassuring to know that we have this insurance for any unanticipated needs. Hopefully we will not need to make any future claims, but if we do, I have confidence that MetLife will be there to help.
