Melio Payments Tracking Order Status

There are so many technical issues--I'm not able to update a vendors PO Box; when I edit, the changes won't save. I can't delete a bill because payment is "pending", even though it's not. I will get dumped out of the bill creation window without warning. Then, there is the almost non-existent customer service. I have reached out to support about a failed vendor payment (which Melio itself instructs me to do) multiple times in the last two weeks, and I only get an auto reply. The Support option in the app yields nothing of value; I searched "support" and got instructions that do not match in any way the current layout of the app or the options I actually have. If you open a chat, you jump through automated hoops; if I try and navigate the app in order to find answers to the automated chat prompts I am receiving, the chat window does not stay on top--it will actually close, and you will have to start the chat from the beginning. Almost everything is an exercise in frustration.

Melio used to work quite well and support was good. However, recently the quality of support has dropped and there is no easy way to remove a client from the system. Now they are forcing paid subscriptions but do not give a way to opt-out or cancel the service. Their support has been horribly slow and not helpful. I used to be a fan but am now actively investigating other options for my clients.

I've used Melio for quite a while for various companies. I used it for AP, not AR. It is good at paying people and getting either direct deposits to them or sending them checks. In general the software works well. However, when something doesn't work well OR you need customer service, I can rarely find a competent person who can help. I needed proof of payment for a vendor who said they did not receive the payment. I might as well been asking Melio to solve world hunger. If you have good software but lousy customer service, it's just not worth it!
