During our visit today Lisa a member of staff at Edge Lane restaurant went above and beyond. We had my 2 year old granddaughter with us and Lisa made sure everything was perfect. What an amazing member of the team.

Well not for the first time they got it wrong yet again, they either give you the wirng order, dont give you your complete order and have items missing, but to add insult to injury its always cold. My visit tonight i had items missing and had to rejoin the que after being told to park up as they needed to cook more, which was also cold, so by the time i got back around my meal was colder than ever. for something that was supposedly freshly cooked, how do they make it so cold so quickly? I am talking about the McDonalds in Upton, Wirral. I have yet to have a good meal from there that I could honestly say was nice, Cold limp and tastes like it was 2 days old. The Staff want retraining and manager needs a rocket to improve the food. Maybe if I ordered a cold drink it would arrive hot.

90% of the time we try to use our voucher code for the £1.99 burger and fries, the kid has to get a manager over. I'm not a monster, I know these kids have to put up with a lot in the day and I'm fine waiting the extra few minutes but why do Mcdonalds put on this promotion if it's so difficult for the employees to find it on their system? And as for their pathetic promotions, why is it that half the time I partake in their games, my selected products are missing the stickers? They claim they've run out but they don't tell you that before you order. I'm not saying I went for the stickers because of course I didn't but don't lure people in with a promotion and then give them standard cups and boxes with no stickers on. Lastly, the portion sizes of the full size Mcflurrys have become increasingly stingy. We pay almost £2 for these and yet they barely fill the pots up half way. McDonald's isn't that cheap anymore and yet they think they can cut costs by ripping off the customers. From now on, I will make an effort to check every order at the drive thru window and if necessary, complain to the manager. Too many times I've got half way home and found I've been screwed over by their tiny and unjust serving sizes. You certainly don't get what you pay for.
