The whole automation process lacks a lot of logic and sense!

Super easy for our company to setup marketing campaigns and integrate with popular services. There's certainly a lot of choices here for email marketing software, but their platform is very useful and has a lot of advanced features to customize our email campaigns. Pretty happy overall, no complaints.

good but expensive not enough discounts available for small businesses

We decided to try Mailchimp for easy integration, which turned out to be a mistake. While setting up was easy, there is no synchronization of customer data between our store and Mailchimp and no easy way to resolve it. Products sporadically synchronized, but customer data would not, no matter what we tried. There is also apparently no reference material to assist in this either. Pricing is based on how many subscribers you have, not how often you use their services. So if you don't want to harass your customers with a newsletter every week you'll end up paying hundreds of £s a month for something you're only using once or twice. You're penalized for success, which motivates you to NOT want customers to sign up. We're currently looking for a fair and usable solution to replace Mailchimp. We won't be using them again and we would not recommend.

Mailchimp was good until it was not. The API documentation is well written. But for someone who doesn't mail so ofter, pricing became unfair over time. You get ripped off for growing your audience list. It doesn't make any sense to me... I switched to Brevo. The migration from MailChimp wasn't easy because I had lots of code-rewrites (I integrated with the API), but it was worth it in every way. Now I can not look back! Brevo is better on almost everything (unlimited audience and fair emailing pricing), and their support is also really friendly. So today, I do not recommend MailChimp to any of my collages, they deserve better.
