Magazines Direct Tracking Order Status

Absolutely appalling company to deal with. They take ages to respond, and when they do they don't listen to your problems properly, so end up making things worse, they'll even attempt to gaslight you to make you go away. AVOID. EDIT 17/1: when they realise they're about to lose you as a customer, you hear from someone higher up who is actually quite helpful and does actually try to listen and respond. So, some credit for that, I lift my review from a 1 to a 2. But I would still be VERY wary of dealing with the regular customer service advisors, just awful and don't seem to care a jot.

They make it so difficult to cancel your subscription. You can't do it on the website, which is difficult to navigate anyway and I had difficulty setting up an account because they seemed to have lost my old one and then I couldn't even type in some of the "required" boxes to fill. Finally got through to someone on the phone and they do everything they can to keep your subscription active, was also randomly disconnected so had to start the whole process again. The magazine issues did all arrive on time so no problems with that.

I have had a subscription with this company for a few years and never had an issue with them. I have recently moved house, however, I didn't update my address in time so my magazine went to my old address. I called them up and spoke to Sandra, who explained error to me, checked what stock they had left and reissued the missing issue for me. Great service and happy to continue my custom with them.

Good service. I ordered the story of arsenal by FourFourFour Two and received it in a couple of days.

FINAL EDIT: Changing the rating to 4/5. The issue came, finally, and judging by the stamps on the package Magazines Direct had nothing to do with such long delivery. It took 10 business days for the magazine to arrive in Poland and then it took almost the whole month for the Polish Post Service to deliver it. Still, I cannot put 5/5 anyway due to the lack of ability to track your package and no customer account for single orders. EDIT #3: 29 business days after creating my order - and nothing arrived. No contact from the company. Will never order from them again and I highly advise others not do it. Burning your hard-earned money would make more sense than buying magazines here. EDIT #2: 19 business days after creating my order I still haven't received the magazine. Will continue to wait and will update this review if it ever arrives. If I knew it would be like this I would just buy it from my local retailer for a higher price instead of missing on the issue completely. EDIT #1: the day after review was posted I got the answer to my email. Support told me that the issue was already shipped and I should allow 10-15 days since order placement for it to come. We'll see. Still strange that I haven't gotten any order confirmation email, though. Well, I've tried. I really like Retro Gamer magazine and wanted to subscribe to it, but after reading reviews here I thought that I should try to order a single issue first, see how it will be handled. After all, 10 euro is not 150. Of course, nothing good came out of it. First of all, they have the possibility to track your subscription, ok, but there is no way to track your orders of single issues. You get an email with your order number and that's it. With any other question you have to contact them directly, as their store has no customer profile feature. In 2024. No customer profile. Anyway, I've placed my order on November 2nd and all I got was the email with my order number, which was NOT even the order confirmation email. It just said that I should wait for the order confirmation email to come with delivery details. This second email still haven't arrived two weeks later. I've written to support - with no response after two days. Naturally, I won't bother to ask for a refund and I don't expect this magazine to ever be delivered. If it comes - I will update this review. If you don't see the update it means this day never came. Completely incompetent business. How they stay afloat in 2024 is a big question, unless it's the conscious scam.
