Having hiked around half of the North in search of a smart maxi dress with sleeves for a wedding, a friend recommended Lovedrove and thank god. They had a couple suitable, prices weren't ridiculous (around £120 each) so ordered one for express delivery and crossed my fingers. Arrived in good time, really good fit and did look as good on as the picture (miraculously.) A few loose threads on the hem to snip off and the zip is very stiff but compared to other plus size 'occasion' options in the UK, Lovedrobe came out streets ahead.

Placed a large order around a year ago, totalling roughly £200. Order was received promptly, but (and this is my fault I know) I didn't check the contents of the parcel closely, just grabbed the top I'd particularly wanted and put the rest of the unopened parcel in my wardrobe as the other items were office wear/dresses. Unfortunately, like much of the country, I didn't end up actually going into the office in 2020 due to COVID and now work from home. I'd forgotten about the clothes until rearranging my bedroom a few days ago and was very confused when I saw the contents. Firstly, the quality and fit of the 2 I've tried on has been great, decent material with lining and nice weight to it, my only criticisms are that on the floral print dresses the print rather glaringly mismatches at the seams, and on one of them a sash loop was loose. However, both the dresses I tried on were comfortable, as was the jumper. Turns out I needn't have fretted about that however, because of the 7 dresses I'd bought THREE were an identical design in black floral print, 2 identical blue pattern, and one yellow one was a size I'd never have ordered. I managed to dig out my order confirmation email from 2020, wondering if I had somehow made this bizarre order and forgotten about it; maybe I was shopping under the influence of wine? Suffering from severe sleep deprivation? Nope, I'd very clearly placed an order for non identical clothing in the correct sizes, so it's a complete mystery to me how I ended up being sent such an odd collection. I would LOVE to know what was going through the mind of the person who packed my order! Clearly, it's too late now for me to return the items or request a refund, and I do seriously wish I had actually checked what I received at the time. That's certainly a failure on my part so I'll just have to learn my lesson, move on, and enjoy my identical dresses! Needless to say, I can't see myself ever purchasing from Lovedrobe again. Decent quality for the price, and there seems to be a nice selection (if they will actually send your choices!) However, I'd be very, very surprised if my strange experience is usual service for them, so I think other customers will probably have a far more positive outcome!

Good online store. Fast shipping. I have ordered 3 dresses, two of them were really good quality, but the third one was not to good.

I bought three dresses from Lovedrobe, 2 for a wedding, one for me and another the same for the other bridesmaid. When I went to try mine some of the sequences were coming away. I thought I had got the threads secured enough, but when I tried it again there were actually many more lose than we had seen and I lost so many sequences there weren't enough extras between the 2 dresses to repair it. It ended up we were unable to wear them and all panic was on to get new dresses for the wedding. Such a waste of money. I do hope the 3rd dress is better when I wear it later this month for the first time. I will update after that and hope I was just unlucky with my first Lovedrobe. If only they had they sent me extra sequences I could have got it repaired without being so out of pocket.
