Very happy through process

Just bought six dining chairs and can only say that I’m very happy with them. Communication from time of ordering until time of me picking them up was excellent. Thank you Jenny for keeping me up to date every step of the way. And thank you to the young man at the pick up depot who was very pleasant and very helpful. All rounded good experience with my first ever purchase from lounge lovers. 👍

Great customer service, albeit some hickups

I had some minor grievances with lounge lovers - e.g. chairs were delayed by a month, but they quickly processed a refund. Also the lounge I bought didn't fit up my elevator and they took it back with no extra delivery fee charge. Compared to my recent experience with Freedom - DO NOT buy from there. At least lounge lovers had good and responsive customer service.

We almost didn’t buy from LL… but very glad we did!

We almost didn’t buy from LL, based on the overwhelming number of terrible reviews. I am very sorry for those who have had such poor experiences, but our experience couldn’t have been more different. I’m so glad we went through with our purchase. The online customer service was fantastic — very prompt, answered all questions, good communications and clarified delivery date — which they delivered on. Four pieces from Manhattan collection (2 bookshelves, 1 TV console and 1 buffet) delivered to their original estimate to a regional location. And the furniture is absolutely gorgeous and very high quality.

8 months of delays and terrible customer service. Massively disappointed.

I purchased some items over 8 months ago, and have since had 6 or more scheduled delivery dates which have all been delayed VERY last minute (they must have known before, but left me hanging each time and delayed by another month or two!) Finally on a recent scheduled day of delivery they told me King size Bronte Headboard is no longer being made in the white colour. Would I like it in grey? No! I ordered white! Again they must have known this months earlier (and the very item still shows as IN STOCK on their website!) Yet another delay. Then I had a delivery promised last Friday, which was crucial as I was shipping them to Hong Kong where I now live. They just told me ‘sorry we meant next Friday’ - which I had told them was too late for me. Over the months I have spent HOURS on the phone with them (sometimes with customer service assistants whose English was poor, which made communication very difficult and frustrating). Not something I have time for really. This should have been a very straightforward online purchase which was complicated by LL by separating to many different orders I couldn’t keep track of, then after long battle out back together as one order so I could (supposedly) have everything delivered in one go to go to my freight company’s warehouse. I am so disappointed with their service, although I have been fairly happy with their items I have purchased previously. Now we wanted to add to the same series, but this saga has taken too long and my container to HK is leaving without the items I purchased over 8 months ago! I understand delays happen during covid but to let the customer be waiting and then cancel last minute (when apparently the items haven’t even left their country of origin) is just terrible form. All in all very disappointing service. I have two stars because I have a LL Sierra dining table that I like, and the chairs look nice though the paint is peeling off the woven leather chairs. My couch has changeable and washable covers which is great when you have kids of dogs. However I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from Loungelovers anything that you can’t pick up yourself on the day. Easy return for a damaged delivery

We bought table and chairs from their Waterloo store. The store was great and staff there were nice. The table got delivered but it was damaged which was sad. We took photos and sent it to them. They quickly organised a replacement the following week or so - no questions asked. Different delivery driver (sub contractor, Kuki movers) brought it to us this time. These guys carefully delivered the replacement, assembled, and disassambled the damaged table. The replacement service was much better than initial delivery service. Happy with the overall experience. As for the product, the Erikson table is nice. The Arc dining chairs were a little different to the showroom. We were warned as wood is a natural product there would be differences. But I wish we were able to actually choose the exact chairs we wanted so there wouldn't be any surprises with the grain patterns or slight colour variations...
