Longhorn Steakhouse Tracking Order Status

We’ve frequented Longhorn Steakhouse in St Peters Missouri since Texas Roadhouse and Outback both went down hill. The steaks at Longhorn were ALWAYS delicious! Mouthwatering in fact. We recently went after illness kept us away a few months. BOY WERE WE DISAPPOINTED! WHAT HAPPENED?!? The ribeye I recieved didn’t look right. It was extremely flat and smooth, it didn’t even look like a steak. It looked like it had been a thicker steak that they had cut longways in 3parts! I turned it over and it was just as flat and smooth as the other side. Because I always get my steak well done, that’s what ordered. But because it was so thin, it was like leather. Then to top it off, they had changed their seasoning to a “6 pepper” seasoning! I’m sorry, but I do NOT like hot spice on my food! And to me it was hot! ALL portion sizes had gotten smaller as well. They used to serve on a big round plate, now it’s a smaller rectangle plate that seemed too big with the smaller portions. They’ve even changed their bread, which was not good. My mother’s filet was only half the thickness it used to be. I sent my order back. Reordered a burger. The burger was dry, and dense. No juiciness at all. I only choked down half of it. Normally we’d take home leftovers… not this time. The only GOOD thing about our dinner was the Strawberry salad which is always delicious. Those are the only steak houses in my area that I’m aware of, and LONGHORN was our last resort in my mind. SO DISAPPOINTING! I thought THANK GOD at least one of these steakhouses in our area is still decent. WELL.. not anymore!

I wanted to give a shout out to an AMAZING team at Longhorn in West Springfield MA, under the direction of Sheila Young! She is hardworking, attentive, kind, and exceptional when it comes to a busy restaurant at 6:30pm and 11 family members waiting to sit to celebrate a birthday. She was outstanding with her staff, the patrons around her, as was GREAT with me. Cheers to a raise to her.

Wow, great food, great price and Brandi our server was TOP KNOTCH! Stopped in for an early lunch and was totally impressed. My chicken sandwich was delicious real chicken breasts pounded out, cooked to perfection and the most delicious French onion soup ever! A lot of bang for your buck! And these days that’s nonexistent. I went to the Vandalia location. Ask to sit in Brandi’s section and tip her well!!

Bismarck, ND site. Saturday, Feb 22. Ordered the Outlaw Ribeye, bone in, 22 oz. 1st off it was huge, covered most of the plate because it was so darn thin. I am talking maybe 5/16 of an inch. 2nd - it was absolutely drenched in butter, covered the entire steak and was running off. Took about 3 bites and couldn't handle it. Weird taste. Waitress, very nice young lady, said the sauce was a butter/lemon sauce. She said they put that combination on all their steaks. Who puts lemon on a steak and why doesn't the menu advise the customer? it was too late to get a replacement but they did take it off the bill. Done with longhorn.

THIS food was amazing the steak felt like I was elegant and I literally love this place so much and it is amazing. Also my waitress was so amazing and sweet and if you go to this steakhouse find Emily and tell her she’s great !
