First this has more to do with the merchant and the customer service with Livingsocial.I purchased a service thru Livingsocial in June. started contacting merchant (MLL) the same day to schedule appt. to no avail would they return a call or send an email In August after no contact from them I contacted LivingSocial for a refund got no it is past the date allowed. I can get something else and lose half of the cost of original purchase. Tried merchant one more time 9/23 via text they were belligerent up to stating they never had signed up with Livingsocial LivingSocial I was never able to speak to a live person only replyy to msg. sent thru their site. LivingSocial should one return monies for services not rendered due to merchant issue, not give the "you are past our date for refund" so you are SOL, two if no refund then do not steal monies from customers when on account. Until this issue never had an an issue with either merchants or livingsocial. Not sure if I will deal with them any longer they are now groupon.

I honestly had no issues with this site whatsoever. I ordered a pair of women's snow boots, and got exactly what I ordered. The boots were nicer than what I expected, judging from LivingSocial's pictures of them. The site is a sister site of Groupon, but unlike Groupon, LivingSocial offered a promo code, and I was able to save another $10.00. the only dislikes: (1) the boots were marked as $99.99 "originally" by the site, but when they arrived, they had a market price tag of $79.99 on them. Kind of deceptive... (2) LivingSocial sent my package via FedEx Smart Post, but for some reason, it was transferred to the USPS last minute, so I had to wait a few extra days for delivery. Other than that, I'm satisfied with what I bought, and considering I only paid $39.99 for the boots which ACTUALLY ticket for $79.99, I'm happy. :)

They are not that bad. They have some decent offers, good partnership with Groupon, bought few good local deals in here, don't bother shopping travel or goods on living social, they tend to be over priced.

I'm not complaining...I had a very good result today and I fully expected the contrary....based on all the negativity I've read today. I just wanted to instill a shred of hope. In one phone call, my issue was resolved with kindness and professionalism. In addition, I've had many negative experiences dealing with foreign customer service operators who are unable to effectively communicate in English...this was not the case this afternoon! This gentleman sounded Indian(I was immediately apprehensive), however, he was succinct in his explanations, appropriate in his approach, and eager to offer further assistance!
