I love the idea and the way the toothpaste bottle looks, but unfortunately (and as others have said) the pump seems to be very dodgy. I've already been sent a replacement but this too only seemed to work for a month or so before the pump stopped dispensing as it should: it doesn't spring up after it's been depressed and gets stuck at the bottom, meaning you have to manually lift it up again. And then when you press it down, less comes out than it did at the start. It's very frustrating! The toothpaste formula is good, the bottles look nice, I just wish they would figure out this issue. I've used the shampoo too and again, I like the formula and the way the bottle initially looks, but the painted coating chips off after a while making it look less nice.

I absolutely love the concept of Life Supplies and the toothpaste is great and has a brilliant mint flavour. I bought all the dispensers and the bottle’s design is really an attractive additions to my bathroom. But the pumps on the toothpaste are just not very good. Toothpaste dispenser has stopped pumping anything out after a couple of months and from the hand soap dispenser rust is coming out of it every time I pump.

This is an amended review after I’ve raised the automatic subscription complaint. After much deliberation, I got refunded which I appreciate. Their customer service staff a mixed bunch but there are some who aim to help. Didn’t like the functionality of the deodorant but probably it’s a matter of personal preference. All I can say to fellow customers who are excited about Timeout tryout offers: there’s no such thing as a free product! Always look for the very small print!

I use the deodorant / antidepressant it is fantastic and is the only one that doesn’t cause my skin to itch. It smells great and lasts for ages.

I have recently moved onto the Maverick toothpaste and I am so impressed with it. Leaves mouth feeling fresh and teeth really clean, definitely up there with all of the top brands, only without all the throw away plastics! Easy to refill and the best thing is you really feel like you are doing your bit for the environment! Happy days!
