I used the service and liked it for years, then over the past year they never seem have anything in stock, the sizes are off, the clothes are often in poor condition, and it takes over 10 days to get a new box, I will be canceling.

I used to love this company and this service. I told my friends about it, I was hooked. But something happened after the bankruptcy - they are so disorganized and take so long to ship the items. I suspect they are delaying shipping to save on costs - feels very dishonest.

I used to love Letote and I have been a loyal customer for years. There have always been frustrations, but it was worth it me because this is the cheapest rental service that had the package options that I wanted. In the past few months, they have merged the maternity service with the standard service and there is no way to filter out maternity clothes when you search. This is annoying, but they have been promising (for at least 6 months) that their engineers are working on it. (How long does it take to type one line of code, really?) The final straw was that they eliminated my favorite package and raised their prices by $20 so they could focus on offering “better brands and exciting new features.” There are no better brands or new features, and now there is also no customer service. It is going on a couple of weeks to get a response. Also, their shipping time sucks, so I absolutely hate my new plan of “unlimited” totes per month. It’s now been 4 days since I shipped my tote back, and I JUST NOW got the go ahead to select my new tote. Since their processing and shipping takes about 5 days, that’s at minimum 9 days without clothes. I kept the clothes for 5 days, so that is 66% of the time without product. What am I paying for????

I got one tote with several items. The selection was okay but not great. I liked two of the items a lot. After using the items I returned them all and cancelled my membership. A couple weeks later I got a charge on my card for $246 for three items it claimed I had purchased but I had actually returned. Customer service said they will refund me in "several days" that was on 6/2/22. Now it is 6/8/22 and I do not have a refund yet. So be careful if you order from here that you have enough money in your account to cover any of the items they may randomly charge you for.

7/15/2020 EDIT: I have become increasingly disappointed with customer service. During the pandemic I kept up my subscription as a little nicety for myself, but the last straw was when they randomly replaced one of my items with a work dress and didn’t let me approve it before it was sent out. What’s the point if I don’t get to choose my items? — I’m hooked on Le Tote to the point where I’ve been asked if I am paid to market them! I’m not; I just really like it! First, everything I get fits me. Everything. This does take careful reading of their stats and item reviews, but it’s so worth it. Second, even though I only get one tote per month, this is the perfect amount of time for me to decide whether or not I should buy something. I agree that sometimes the selection is low. There are two points about that that I want to make, though. One, when my in-season favorites aren’t available, it forces me to branch out and give other items a second look. I get to try new clothes that I’d otherwise ignore. I actually ended up buying a dress I would have never normally even tried on at a store. Two, if you are patient and don’t confirm your tote right away, more items become available. I spend a couple days browsing before I confirm. This does mean no clothes for those days, but this is actually the fun shopping part! All in all, Le Tote has been the best clothing rental service I’ve found. (I’ve actually used Haverdash and Gwynnie Bee, but I’ve shopped around and found no others I’d want to pay for.) I’d give it the extra star if they had an option to swap one item every now and then. I’ve been stuck with duds for a month a couple times, but this is a minor issue based on all the other positives!
