KATADYN Tracking Order Status

Hiker water filter failed after 3 uses, Katadyn responded quickly after I contacted them which was great but their suggestion was just to upgrade to a new filter which has been upgraded with a stronger inlet point.

My Steripen stopped working .. died .. and when I contacted them they said it could not be repaired. I had expected much better from a steripen that had not been used more than a dozen times altogether. I will not buy steripen or Katadyn equipment in future and I recommend you do not either,

I had a problem during a trip with my steripen ultralight (premature lamp fail). The customer service sent my quickly a new pen, they were really kind and tried to find the best solution for me. I'm really satisfied.

I really love my katadyn hiker pro water filter. It's small and works well. Only 1 flaw, filter caps fits limited types of containers, so I keep hose in my 1 & 2 quart water canteens.
