Japanese Taste Tracking Order Status

I ordered on March 5th and received the order one week later. Top-notch service, high quality products and competitive prices.

As a first time Japanese Taste client I found the entire transaction and delivery a breeze, and the items purchased were as described. I cannot vouch for the taste of the smoked bonito until I shave it and make dashi. That may happen in the future, but it certainly seems to be the legitimate article. All in all I have no idea/concept about what other people are whining about. Perhaps people like to complain to get freebies, like restaurant clients who complain about food so they can get the the food without a charge. The power of clueless on-line reviewers.

I was a little worried ordering having read these reviews but went ahead anyway given some of the 5 star reviews. My box arrived beautifully packed and with every item intact including glass bottles. The customer service with Tomoki was exemplary as he was quick to check back with me and have my parcel on its way in a couple of hours including giving a refund for one unavailable item. I will be shopping with them again. My one advice to anyone facing a problem is to call them because a delay in your package could also be because of an unavailability of a certain product in your cart.

I did see a lot of the bad reviews here after I placed my order so I was a little anxious but there were no delays from the initial delivery date and everything came in undamaged and in perfect condition with lots of padding.

I’m located in the USA and paid for express shipping. I did not get a customs fee at the time of writing this and I am still waiting on my package. I ordered a bunch of snacks a little over $100 worth on February 1st and it was cleared through customs and in the States by today, February 5th. I will edit my review if the package takes too long to get here or if the items I ordered are expired, but otherwise I’m extremely excited to have some snacks!
