Extremely easy to use and get paired up with a teacher. Lots of choices for leaning. I recommend this app to anyone looking to learn a new language.

I was connected to a good tutor who has been helpful in recognizing what my language learning goals are and helping me achieve them. Italki is good at reminding me to set up new tutoring sessions and helps keep me on pace with my learning.

Overall good experience with Italki and my teacher, but user experience can be greatly improved by: 1. Not having the final payment in USD. It's an international platform, so I find it frustrating and annoying that they want their payment system to be American-centric. There's even an extra fee for paying by card which I find ridiculous! At least cater directly to major currencies like the euro! 2. Pushing for the community-side of language learning. Allow users to find language partners again. This used to be a feature, but it seems they've removed it. 3. Having more flexible package options (i.e. more than five lessons for a package) with considerable discounts. I'm not yet convinced to give them four stars amidst my satisfaction, but they should be on the way if they work on a few things.
