International Open Academy Tracking Order Status

I did not realise ahead of time that I would be charged even for a digital certificate! I now have a completed course and no evidence that I did it (I literally cannot afford the certificate at the moment, and the course quality doesn't match the price of the certificate anyway). The course itself is basic, as expected, and just about worth the £15 I spent to buy it. Much of the content is so obvious that it is pointless, especially the last two modules which give the most generic, vague advice you can imagine on Classroom Management and How to Get a Job in TEFL. However, it does give a useful overview of areas in which to focus in further study by yourself, specifically relating to teaching English. It's a bit like buying the contents page and the glossary of a book about TEFL without any of the detailed information. The digital certificate alone is over £20 (more expensive than the course itself, which tells you everything you need to know really). I suspect like many people, I bought the course as an introduction to TEFL and as a means of having at least some form of certification I can use to get work. International Open Academy, unsurprisingly as a business, have modelled their profits on the expense of the latter rather the quality of the former.

I had a great experience of studying and learning the topics introduced in the modules. What I liked about it was that it allowed me to take the course on my own pace. I enjoyed every bit of the lessons especially when the presenter shared his experiences in teaching abroad. The admin staff was also active and responsive to answer my queries while undergoing my studies. I finished my course with confidence that I am the product of this internationally recognized organization.

I recently completed the course and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. From the quality of the material to the engaging instructors, I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the course. I did have a problem downloading my digital copy and receiving my hard copy but I am grateful for the prompt resolution of the issue from the support agent. It was brought to my attention that you have to click redeem button once you complete the order process. Hope this is helpful to someone out there. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their knowledge in this field. The practical skills and valuable insights I gained from this course can be applied immediately and have already proven to be incredibly useful. This course has been an overall positive experience.

Course was excellent, it is a great guidence for people like me. I am trying hard with my self to be a good teacher; although I am feeling way better prepared now that the course got completed. Also taking a second course online with International open academy. Loved it!!
