All my reward points 115,000 were removed from my account - even after being a loyal member for so long. No grace provided for COVID - when travel was not possible. I would recommend people to go to other hotels like Marriott and Hilton who are understanding and provide grace period.

Williamsburg NY location was the best thing about this hotel. Our shower had dozens of tiny flying bugs on the ceiling and tiles. Shower floor was extremely slippery and without any type of floor mat. Not a mini fridge in the room but a mini “cooler” which kept beverages slightly above room temperature. TV malfunctioned constantly by audio skipping and we were told to flip the breaker switch to reset it. Air conditioning also failed and we were advised to flip the breaker…all night long. No vending machines available for ice or soda and water was very inconvenient.

I have been using IHG exclusively for many years but I think im going to switch to another brand. Many IHG hotels, specifically the best and most desirable ones no longer accept points for a booking or only accept them on certain days of the week. They have gotten bad about not issuing points and you have to call cs and beg for them. I recently couldn’t make it to my hotel and was unable to cancel. I didn’t even try to get out of paying for the room but they didn’t give me my points. Had to call and was told they don’t issue points if you don’t show up even though they still charge you full rate. Im just about done with them.

IHG holiday Inn Birmingham Airport Hotel... The bar staff and restaurant were a absolute delight and so considerate, reception upon arrival less so, our company had booked 4 rooms thru booking.com despite giving the lady at 8pm 13th June on reception my booking reference and name under booked reservations thru booking.com, the dispute went on a little too long with her making me feel I was wrong and needed to leave, despite my manager who the booking was under and confirming the name several times... now, I had been travelling with delays for 5 hours, I was already in a bad place and just wanting to get to my room and didn't need this weird and unnecessary push back, explaining several times my manager had already arrived and booked in, by the 6th time and a chap with common sense intercepting near the end of me losing it, did I finally get booked in. Thank god for him. Beyond the delay in checking in, the noise of slamming doors in room 229 from 4am through to me just giving up on sleep altogether by 6am was endless, I had 3 full days of hell ahead of me, and could have done with just a few consecutive hours sleep before going again, it just didn't happen here... if you want sleep, book anywhere else than Hoilday Inn IHG Birmingham Airport hotel... people lovely, however, sleep impossible

Stayed in the crowne plaza sheffield, Alana and Adi were fantastic, Alana always had a smile on her face and really treated all her customers well A true asset to the hotel
