H&R Block Tracking Order Status

On their webpage, HRBlock advertised only few forms are not supported. My experience is quite different: it's supposed to support foreign assets, in particular forms 8833, 8949, 1116, 1116 AMT and 8621. After few hours, I was unable to enter theses assets in HR Block web application. Regarding the 1099-B, you cannot enter them using a csv format. You've to enter data 1 by 1 going thru at least 4 consecutive screens. Regarding the import of data, your pdf is supposed to be in a particular format (which is not described). My bank sent me a 1099 which includes 1099-DIV, 1099-B and 1099-INT. It was not recognized. An easy way will to be import previous year tax return (which is basically a set of IRS forms), and used it to configure the list of assets. Ideally, you could use the previous year numbers as a basis or not (to avoid wrong data). But it does not work like this. Moreover, I've tried to remove unnecessary box, but they continued to reappear. I've tried to answers questions again to make them disappear ; it did not work. I tried to use the online help but it did not work, and just proposed me to contact a CPA to review my TR.

My experience was with the H&R office in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. I am a foreign national that owns property in the USA, and from which I earn rental income. I DO NOT LIVE in the USA, so I do not have to declare all my income in the USA. The point of this review is this. H&R was friendly and attentive; until my filing went wrong and I needed support to handle the issue with the IRS. I do not have an issue if they made the wrong filing; mistakes can happen. What I have an issue with is when the filing goes wrong, one contacts them and then they simply do not reply to an e-mail sent directly to them. So, not only did something go wrong with my filing in that now the IRS wants to collect taxes: I am not sure if the IRS is right, or if we did a wrong filing, or what the situation is, because H&R Block does not reply to my mails. It was good, friendly, reasonable service. And then it went to no service at all. Funny part: they offer a program called PEACE OF MIND. For an extra fee (there are always extra fees) H&R Corporate claims that if something ever happens with the IRS, they will handle it. I find that hard to believe, based on my experience.

My experience this year with HAnd R block was a night mare. Not only were they slow ,rude ,the lady who did my taxes , didn't know what the new law was , I had to wait for two weeks and , two days,, to have them finished .V ,I will never go back and would discourage anyone from using this service

I have used H&R Block for years and I have never had a problem. The people there are always so helpful and try their best to get everything they can for me and my family! When I filed this year, Doris W. was my tax specialist and she went above and beyond to help us! I wouldn't use anyone else! I used the office in Osceola Arkansas! I can't speak on other places but for them, I stand by them 100%
