Very hard to deal with! Sold me a bottle with a thread so badly damaged it wouldn’t seal and it damaged my hose, they didn’t want to know and said speak to calour gas. Local depot don’t answer their phone and if you call the National number it goes through to a central office who are about as useful as a chocolate teapot! Can’t give you a price without checking with local depot who don’t answer their phone so not really sure what purpose the central office serves because it isn’t customers that’s for sure!!

Ordered a bulk log delivery, ordering was easy and pricing was OK as was the advised delivery date, however they delivered to the wrong house in the wrong street, so I had to make several trips in my own car to collect them, think they use 3rd party delivery partners, so not really their fault.

I have used Taybrite smokeless coal (made by Homefire), in a Morso multifuelstove, for many years... The latest 10 bags purchased from a local coal merchant (where the coal is stored under cover) are a completely different product... it is much harder to ignite and seems to be 'wet' initially leaving moisture on the glass door and thereafter dirty deposits. It also has much more ash residue left behind than previous purchases... has the production/constituents changed?

Eco coal is sold as burning hotter and longer than ordinary smokeless. I tried it in my multifuel stove and the result was that it was nowhere near as hot as smokeless, and was burned out fully three hours before my usual smokeless would have been. Very very disappointed and will not be buying again.

They are are too thin and therefore burn through in minutes. Not efficient by any means.
