Hertz Car Rental UK Tracking Order Status

I had to queue for over 1.5 hours to pick up my hired car. The people in front of me was 27 deep, however this was not the fault of the agent behind the desk as they could only do 1 customer at a time. There were three empty desks with no agents though one did turn after 45 minutes. The issues here were making customers wait so long for a car rental a complete lack of agents to manage the customers waiting. The Hertz Car rental in Edinburgh is in the same area as their compeditors who only had a max of three customers waiting and why because the had enough staff on to manage the flow. The Hertz Local Management team own full responsibility for this fiasco as they would have known how many flights and bookings were made, appalling. The were a few disabled who had to find somewhere to sit once agaiing appalling!

Good company

They state that you need a credit card with 1200 for insurance excess, but it's actually 1450 .the extra is for fuel .this is very misleading and It ment I had to transfer funds to allow for this.luckily the transaction cleared immediately.

Great service once again from Hertz in Belfast City Airport. I am a frequent traveler and use Hertz both in US and Europe. The welcome and service at the City Airport at my last trip was second to none. I was greeted personally by name and after a long trip was made to feel very welcome. The car was ready and both the pick-up and drop off went smoothly and quickly

All-round great experience at Manchester Airport for the past few months. I've rented around 5 vehicles with them now over the past 2 months and it has been great every single time. Given me the car I booked or upgraded me upon asking nicely. A nice fleet of new or near new vehicles are always available. ( I can recommend the Polestar 2, comes with free charging with Shell) Yes, they have relocated slightly further away from the airport in Manchester, but the regular shuttle service is nice and clean, with a friendly driver, every 20 min and also stops at the train station. Friendly people at the desk and during the return with a hassle free process during pick-up and the return. Keep up the good work!
