Hearst Magazines Tracking Order Status

Bought a good housekeeping subscription for my mother last Christmas which included a free recipe book. I used a link via Quidco to also get some cashback. Magazine seems to have been arriving regularly at my mothers but the book was sent to my card address which is in another part of the country. Also my cashback was declined by Hearst on the grounds that “your at your purchase was either amended, returned or cancelled” which is nonsense. Beware.

Having resolved part of my subscription issue I am delighted to say that issue one of a twelve month subscription to Country Living magazine has arrived. However, the sustainable packaging it came in is wholly inefficient and the contents fell out onto the wet ground as the postman tried to deliver it. The adhesive used to keep the ends of the wrap sealed is way to flimsy. I have sent an email to Hearst magazines and country living and will report back on their replies

I was sent an email saying my online subscription to Elle is ending. I never signed up for it. I emailed them back and said I never ordered any subscription and to remove my email from their list. They replied with we can’t locate an account with my email address. It’s not believable since they are emailing me about the subscription. They wanted my name and mailing address and the subscription. I already told them which subscription (Elle Digital) which I didn’t sign up for. They should already have an address attached to that email address if I supposedly signed up. I didn’t reply after that. I think they are a scam.

It probably took less than 30 seconds to subscribe and I couldn't find a cheaper price elsewhere.
