Some castles weren’t really castles too far away from tourist attractions and the castles were for weddings not tourists! Abbey castle was very dirty, spider webs all over, dirty windows and disgusting pools of dirty water with mosquitoes outside our windows so we couldn’t open them up. I took photos of this. Ask for bottled water for room never showed up very disappointed experience. Restaurant at the Dunboyne castle was closed could only eat at the bar with limited food menu! Cabra castle was nice with the exception of wedding/ bachelor parties NOT for Tourists! Overall I feel this is a true meaning of a tourist trap would NEVER book again with you!

So many landmark sites packed in 12 days. The travel time seemed long but the sites are so worth the travel. Fabulous trip. We enjoyed the tours & meals included. We purchased a few of the optional tours. Great value. Would have enjoyed more time to explore and shorter travel days. Might be worth extending the trip by a few days& adding another stop or two on a couple instead of having a couple of the long travel days.

Two of the six hotels were changed the week before departure and we were not notified. I noticed the change and I asked GVV to switch one of them back which they did. I did not ask to switch our hotel in Baddeck, NS and wish I did. We checked into the Ceilidh Country Lodge and room was infested with lady bugs and toilet seat was very loose. We got another room but hotel is very outdated. The food at breakfast appeared to be the same food as the day before and left out all day. Recommend not using this hotel in the future.

Our stay was wonderful and we will certainly recommend Great Value and use it again!

Great Value Vacations, especially Carrie, made our dreams come true. A wonderful seamless experience. Would def go again!
