Tried to cancel service... gotomypc would not issue refund for unused 7 months remaining in subscription - approx. $700. Dishonorable company ripping people off

Been using GoToMyPC for 10 years and been very happy. The past month, I have been unable to connect. Spent an hour with tech support last week. They uninstalled/reinstalled. Same problem this past weekend. Called tech support, spent 40 minutes with them, essentially, they said to uninstall/reinstall again, they were having launcher problems, with no resolution date. I asked to be transferred to cancel my account. They cancelled, and refunded the unused 6 months. VERY disappointed. For $420/yr., you would think they would keep things running.

Terrible policies and customer service. After cancelling over a month ago I noticed they were still charging me so I called, they had said it wasn't cancelled. Looked through e-mails didn't find anything to prove it was cancelled so it's your word against theirs. So I told them please refund the payment that was charged 2 days ago. She said in their policy their are no refunds allowed for cancelling you will pay no matter what happens. BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!

Canceled my subscription but they took my renewal anyway. Impossible to contact customer service. Dreadful.

Such a shame the cool and formally trustworthy GoToMyPC has been taken over by pirates. Because of our loyalty over years, they (logmein) *only* doubled our prices - without telling us beforehand. They also helped themselves to an extra £1000 via direct debit. Maria on Billing comforted me by explaining they'd treated other companies even worse on the price hikes! Since they took over, I no longer get any emails gotomypc send - not even the reset password link. They get two stars because Maria was very patient and took the time to help all she could and she knows about 15% of the international phonetic alphabet. She also helped me navigate the refund link and was decent enough to provide us with an extra couple of months free. That's extra time for me to look at alternatives. Thanks Maria, no thanks logmein
