Good Chop Tracking Order Status

Several things about Good Chop are a problem. First, they don’t tell you that certain meats are extra. As much as $19.99 for two steaks. The steaks that are included with your monthly box are thin and small. No bone in ribeye steaks. Second they shorted us 2 packs of burgers. When I spoke to someone I was told there was nothing that could be done. I would have to wait until my first 5 boxes shipped because I was on a promo. The other thing that bothered me was the person whom delivered the initial boxes. The vehicle they drove up in was terribly dirty on the inside. The boxes weren’t very cold and the dry ice was almost gone, all in all I will not order from Good Chop again. The whole shorting something and then telling me they could do nothing about it made it almost feel scammy.

Excellent customer follow-up and products. Have ordered several boxes from good chop and a previous box had missing items. Called customer service and was advised they would credit my account $50 for the missing items. Well here we are 2 months later and was now told they would credit my credit card the $50 after I took delivery and paid full price of my June 5th box. No credit was issued so now I’m beginning to think about their reputation as a company. I wish they would follow through on their word. As far as the meat no issues. UPDATE. Maria from Goodchop trust and safety administrator contacted me and made good on their wood and credited my card back the $50. I’m truly impressed by her and her commitment to the customer and GoodCHop as a whole. I will continue with my orders as the products they offer are absolutely amazingly good and they do keep their word for issues that arise. Thank you Maria

I was ordering from a farm which had grass fed and finished beef. They also offered chicken, turkey and pork and I found the meat to be flavorful. I decided to use the promotion from Good Chop to do a comparison. I am not impressed with Good Chop at all! The pork chops were big but a weird texture after cooked and tasteless. I didn’t like the taste of the beef tips and they were fatty and tough. The rib eyes were tender but they were 2/3rd fat. No wonder they were tender. I was grossed out by all the fat and I normally love ribeye steaks! The ground beef was too fatty for my taste. I find the meat to be lower quality than what I am used to and I didn’t find the prices to be any better. I didn’t try any of the seafood so I can’t comment on that. I see a bunch of great reviews and others like the meat, but I won’t be ordering from them again.

So far all cuts have been excellent

I absolutely love the food that I get from Good Chop!! I’ve ordered from them three times and was very happy each and every time!! I would be continuing to buy from them, but I’m getting ready to move so I will wait until I get settled in another place. In this day and age of horribly poor meat quality I am thankful for this company that provides high standard and delicious meat!!
