Godiva Chocolates Tracking Order Status

Ordered some Black Friday offers, various gift packs for Xmas presents. When they arrived most were best before mid-December. Eventually found it in very small print on the website. No mention of it in all the Black Friday promotion. Misleading and an expensive mistake.

I placed an order with Godiva and did not receive a confirmation email, after a quick check on trust pilot I panicked a little - the reviews on here are terrible! I did email Godiva and received a prompt response to reassure me that my order was in progress. I am pleased to say my order arrived without a hitch (via DPD next day, inc one hour time slot). Godiva, please do respond to your unsatisfied customers on here, it does look like you don’t care when things don’t go to plan (that’s the reason for dropping a star, otherwise would have been 5 stars).

I can't review the shop website but the chocolate... it's worth every penny, it's sooooo delicious. I've never eaten anything so heavenly. It's a die for pleasure. I've got the chocolates as a gift 12 years ago and I remembered the taste until I tried it again today. I didn't know chocolate can be so good. Actually I don't really like chocolate but this is extraordinary. Every bite is an orgasm. The taste stay long in your mouth prolonging the sensation (great if you watch calories). If only it was a little more affordable... but there are other affordable chocolate... not worth eating.

Ordered 2 Easter eggs when they arrived they had been smashed to bits during transit .One email was all it took to sort the problem . Just took delivery of 2 whole Easter Eggs , thanks Godiva for great costumer service.

Placed an order for Valentine's day for some Salted Caramel Tablets. The order took three days to arrive despite being paid next day delivery and they actually sent Dark Chocolate Sea Salt which would not have been appreciated as a Valentine's gift. It then took two days for Customer Services to reply to say that they have emailed the warehouse to send a replacement box. I've not heard anything since. Updated to 3 stars as Godiva did contact me on Monday to advise me that a delivery would be sent that day and the correct chocolates subsequently arrived, a bit late for St Valentine's Day but appreciated nonetheless.
